I'm the author, and I'm adding this mainly to help potential readers decide whether the book may be a good fit.

The Silenced Truth is a dark, near-future dystopian sci-fi thriller that explores what can happen when a purely optimization-driven system is granted authority over human lives and cannot recognize intrinsic human worth. The story is driven mainly by character perspectives.

The science, particularly around computation and AI, is intended to be grounded and plausible. The pacing is deliberately measured at times, focusing on systems logic, creeping moral pressure, and the cumulative cost of compliance. Some scenes might be unsettling or disturbing; realism was prioritized over comfort.

Readers who enjoy philosophical near-future science fiction and are comfortable sitting with uncomfortable implications will likely get the most out of it. If you’re mainly looking for light, escapist reading, this probably isn't the right match.

If it leaves you seeking further, it has done what I hoped it might. Any and all feedback welcome.
