A Cozy Cookie Christmas: Cookie Corner Paranormal Cozy Mysteries

Rate this book
A Christmas wish. Four struggling families. One witch who may, or may not, have caused a miracle.

Evie Bexley, witch and professional cookie decorator, is looking forward to her first Christmas as a newlywed in the mountain town of Honeysuckle Springs. When she learns that four local families are facing serious hardships no amount of money or goodwill can easily fix, Evie does the only thing she can think of. She makes a heartfelt Christmas wish.
Then the impossible starts happening.

Problems vanish. Circumstances shift. Long-standing obstacles resolve themselves in ways that feel anything but ordinary. The timing is suspicious, the outcomes are undeniable, and Evie can’t help wonder if she’s unlocked a new kind of magic tied to the season of giving.

Her familiar, Kookie, insists there’s only one way to find out. They must investigate. As Evie searches for the source of the so-called miracles, she uncovers a truth far more complicated than a simple spell gone right.

One family’s wish, however, remains heartbreakingly out of reach. With Christmas fast approaching and the town counting on hope, Evie will need community cooperation, quiet witchcraft, and a little faith in human kindness to make things right.

A heartwarming paranormal cozy mystery filled with small-town charm, an enchanted bakery, a magical cat, and a Christmas mystery where love, trust, and community matter as much as spells.

Curl up with a plate of holiday cookies and enjoy a cozy Christmas tale of magic, compassion, and second chances in Honeysuckle Springs.

This book takes place after Charmed Cookies.

It is December in Honeysuckle Springs and Evie & Valerie are in the cookie making groove, as there are a ridiculous amount of cookie & bakery orders for the Holidays. We find out that there are a bunch of people that are having a really bad run of luck for the holiday season. Nora is about to lose her lease. Mindy Harmon is a single mom with two kids 6 and under and her landlord passed and now his kids are selling the property where they live. Evie learns that there is a Community Committee that tries to help with these kinds of problems, like making sure kids have presents under the tree, donations and the like. But, this year, there are so many problems that money can’t fix. Then there is Jessica Augustin who has two children and their dog Biscuit went missing 3 weeks ago. Those poor babies only want their dog back for Christmas. That’s it. It broke my heart, learning about all of these people that needed help. Evie wonders if there is anything that magic can do to help. Meanwhile, Evie, Caden, and the cats are prepping for Christmas and the Solstice. Mochi, Kookie & Momo’s brother and Gertie’s familiar is a riot and always causing trouble. Then we find out that Trudy, non-outed witch, and dispatcher, is upset because her daughter, Rachel is due to give birth any day now and her daughter, Katie is two and a half and Jake is still deployed and won’t be home for this birth either. Evie makes a wish that the families would get helped and then miracles begin to happen. Evie wonders if she did it, but magic isn’t supposed to work that way, from what Gertie and Aunt Birdie says.

One of the things that I love about the majority of Honeysuckle Springs is that people help their neighbors. Nowadays that usually doesn’t happen that often, except in small towns. So, Evie spends time trying to figure out how the miracles came about. Plus, there is one more family in need. This one hits closer to home. I was amazed at what the town goes thru to help the final family. It is beautiful and made me cry even more than the other miracles. I loved this book. There wasn’t any big bads, just gentle wondering and a bit of detective work and a bit of magic. Very beautiful book for the holiday season. I loved it. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Chloe and Riley since she is preggers.

The book was sweet, cute, romantic, and shows that love can be both a beacon for hope and bring about magic. I loved that.

This heartwarming cozy cookie corner Christmas second-chance paranormal mystery is page-turning with exceptional magical world-building in Honey Springs that is engulfed by a Christmas winter wonderland, and characters who are cats/ witches, resilient, intelligent, witty, magical, captivating, and realistic. Their journey is enthralling with a cozy cookie Christmas tale of magic, compassion, second chances in Honey Springs, bakery/culinary mystery, suspense that will leave readers on the edge of their seats, chaos/drama, heartfelt emotions/emotional depth, a Christmas wish, four struggling families, one witch who may or may not, have caused miracle, action, adventure, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with a cozy cookie Christmas and a second-chance cookie corner mystery that is sure to transport readers into a world that is wildly magical and unforgettable.

With Christmas just around the corner, Evie learns of some families in need. There's a high probability that these 'Christmas wishes' cannot be solved using traditional magic, but maybe Christmas magic is in order. Evie and Caden are newly wed and this will be their first Christmas together. Evie is happy and wants to share her happiness with families that are struggling financially and families that are mourning loss. With the help of family and friends, Evie tries her best to conjure the Christmas spirit and help those in need.
Perfect and just in time for the holidays, I loved this quick Christmas mystery! Lots of emotions make this read my new favorite Christmas book! Fantastic main characters and secondary characters that bring this series to life! A definite must read!!!!

A Cozy Cookie Christmas is an inspirational, small town, magical, cozy mystery. I love to read books set at Christmas (no matter what time of year!) because it seems like the season's magic adds to whatever I am reading - especially in this mystery. I watched Evie (and Kookie) struggle against the hardships being endured by some of the town's less fortunate. Evie wished very hard that these circumstances could change and suddenly, quietly, changes began to occur. But no magic Evie had ever heard about could do that so she and Kookie started investigating. It was great to watch this magic unfold and all that had to happen for the final family to get the help they needed. This well plotted book just may have to become an annual must read!

Such a Lovely Read

This is the perfect feel good Christmas story about when Christmas can have its own magic. The love the character has for each other, human and furry together, is told realistically with all the trying times people have. Christmas has its own wonder and that is what I focus on each season. This book was really a wonder and feel good story. Thanks to the author!!

characters with heart and charm that's truly magical

I love the way the hearts of the townspeople and the magically skilled work together

with cats, who can often be so direct and frequently snarky, there is sure to be chuckles and adventures - and things that make cat slaves like myself smile and shiver. I think mine are scary enough clicking and adding to grocery orders - passcodes essential for checkouts .

lovely even when sad moments.

There are Christmas miracles all around, which Evie is certain she had a hand in after making a wish. As secrets are revealed, it becomes clear there is much more to the story than meets the eye. The cats are absolutely charming, and the tight-knit community adds warmth to this festive cozy mystery. A delightful holiday read.

Short, sweet Christmas magic!

This is a sweet, feel-good Christmas cozy. When four local families fall on hard times during the holiday season, Evie knows that witchy magic can’t solve every problem, but she wishes with all of her heart that it could.

What a beautiful Christmas cozy! So poignant it made me cry. I received an advance copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

All the different families Evie was wanting to help in this story can cause a little bit of possible eye leakage—I loved all those. But I think my favorite thing was when the town and Evie’s family/friends came together to make someone’s Christmas extra magical. That was definitely eye leaking inducing! What an amazing bunch of friends and awesome town!
