You Will Rock As a Dad! Wealth Edition The Playbook for Financial Literacy, Growing Your Money, and Investing for Adults

If you’re a dad who works hard, pays the bills, and still feels uneasy about money… this book is for you.

Most fathers were never taught how to build wealth without stress. So they wing it. They hope it works out. And quietly worry they’re falling behind—especially now that someone else depends on them.

You Will Rock As a Dad! Wealth Edition was written to change that.

This is not a get-rich-quick scheme.
It’s not written by a Wall Street insider.
And it’s definitely not packed with confusing charts or financial jargon.

It’s a dad-built, real-life playbook for creating stability, freedom, and opportunity—starting exactly where you are.

Inside, you’ll learn how ✔ Find your first $500 of breathing room
✔ Build a simple budget you’ll actually stick to
✔ Stop living paycheck to paycheck (without earning more)
✔ Create a “Yes Fund” for guilt-free family moments
✔ Start investing with confidence—even if you feel “bad with money”
✔ Build generational wealth through small, consistent wins

Each chapter is short, practical, and ends with a quick win - something you can apply immediately, not someday.

This book isn’t about yachts, millions, or retiring at 40.
It’s about peace of mind.
Confidence as a provider.
And giving your kids a stronger foundation than the one you started with.

You’re not behind.
You’re not failing.
You’re building.

Flip the page. Let’s go from winging it to winning it, with money!

You Will Rock as a Dad! Wealth Edition is a quick, short read that provides both common sense and the insight on how to do what you already know you should be doing. Many of us know we should have money in a savings account in case of an emergency or that we should be paying off any debt we have so that it frees up our money to either be saved or spent on other necessities or wants but we don’t always know how to accomplish those goals or see a path with our current circumstances. What this book does is give you a road map that you can either choose to follow or not. What’s nice about the road map is it gives you choices about which path you ultimately want to take and recommends when and how often. It gives you guardrails of recommended percentages of allocations with your money that you ultimately get to choose. One of the nice things it teaches you is the Yes! Fund. This is the money you get to spend freely every month without guilt. Many budgets leave this out and you feel like you can’t spend any extra money, that you have to put every dollar towards paying off debt or savings and that just isn’t the case. That mindset will burn you out quicker than anything. It’s like dieting without being allowed any cheating at all. That’s the fastest way to end a diet. The Yes! Fund is your diet cheat day or days depending on how much you choose to allocate. I also love how the author breaks down teaching your kids about money, it’s value, the value you bring earning money and so much more. I think this is a great lesson for families to open the doors to conversation about money. I really enjoyed this book and am definitely going to be putting some of these actions into place for my family starting with educating my kids about our family budget.

Money Matters From a Seasoned Dad To A New Dad

Author Alex Grace takes all his financial knowledge, mistakes, tips & examples from friends and writes a step-by-step money mastery guide for the soon-to-be Dads of the world. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, this book covers it all for your growing family.

The book is well written and the information flows in a logical manner. The detail is amazing. I found sage advice in the simplicity of “just start.” There is no more stalling until you make more money or hanging on the excuse that you have no extra income to save.

Grace gives two practical and actionable tips I love: decrease spending and increase income. Then there are examples of exactly how to accomplish both. These aren’t huge lifestyle changes either, it’s taking small actions that fit into your current lifestyle. I especially liked the emphasis that money is a family affair to be talked about and financial decisions shared, even with your kids.

I bought this book for my nephew who will be a new dad soon. But it’s a great resource for any parent who could use guidance with their family finances.
