She has created numerous quilts for herself and also for family, friends, and charity. She loves to play not only with pattern and design, but also value—the placement of lights, darks, and medium colors throughout a quilt.

Very informative and useful as a reference - includes color charts, measurements of mattress/quilt sizes, chart of block sizes in a fat quarter and much more, despite the off-putting "idiot" title.

Of the many quilting books that I have read recently, this one is the best. It is very comprehensive, has excellent visuals for every step, which is clearly described.
