MERRY CHRISTMAS U 2
This book was soo freaking hot it gave me a fever. Kathryn meets Blake her new intern and she’s instantly hooked. What she thinks is an attraction she can shake turns into an absolute whirlwind of instalove that would make the Scrooge sing 🎤! Their love while not at all practical takes flight in a matter of days and it's sooo amazing. I needed this Xmas read so badly and it brought the romance I was craving to life! What a novella sheesh. Go read this while you're curled up on your couch with a glass of wine 🍾 and let the words “take” you to bed.

Quick and Cute
I thought this book and storyline were adorable. I loved the fact that she was the boss but the dynamic shift behind closed doors was great. I did however think this was a bit too rushed. There are key things that are left out. The fact that he told her he has a girlfriend and yet she never questions it again. Then knowing he is an intern makes you think he is younger but then he has life experience which the. Makes you question his age. Not once are we told his age although her age is mentioned a few times. Then at the beginning it is implied that he didn’t have family and toward the end all of a sudden he does. I would have loved to see a little more conversation between the two characters. There just seemed to be a lot left out that made the story seem incomplete. But, I did enjoy their dynamic.

This was another delightful read from the author. The FMC might seem a bit naive, but she's actually quite clever for recognizing what's truly important—or maybe it's just her libido talking. 😂 I was curious about the Christmas bonus, and in the end, I got the answer. I understood why it was such a big deal and agreed with him. Kudos to him—he really knows how to handle a boss. I had my doubts about him at first, but he proved his feelings for her to be genuine.

The plot was pretty straightforward. World building was solid. The characters drove the storyline and they were very steamy and seductive together. Highly recommend.

I enjoy a well written office romance and this one fut the bill. If you enjoy age gaps and insta love romances then this should be your next read.
