Perfect book to start the new year!!

The way the words written begins to tease me in such a delicious sting that a burn can create;in this case it’s every word written is starting to create within myself while making me start to crave what’s to come in such anticipation, want. No. Need!! I can only imagine what it would feel to be the FMC. The way this book captures such a thrilling slow burn, tease… That’s the words because the way I have held my breath, gasped along with Elena, or my own body, mind, and soul sync within each hers; Rafa and Leo’s too. It takes one Hell of a writer for these amount of feelings that’s ready to become fireworks within myself. I know. I am not nor will be the only one. Where temptation becomes the air you need to finally breathe for the first time in so long because of the feelings that built up and sat there or when what society may see as wrong becomes oh so right in ways that me, you- the reader becomes a little jealous but also get to live a similar craving within a book such as Izzy’s to feel seen and heard. Or maybe, just get to experience something you never knew could be so everything and more.

I want to add that books teach, helping the growth within ourselves blossom, heal-mend, and connect in ways that simply a therapist cannot… but also. For me. I am finally learning another language; a language that is part of my history and in my blood I am very proud of. Because of Izzy Ravas, Mi Hermosa Reina. I get to learn through her writing and really learn in a way I never thought I could nor be able to read it-learn it- and not just listen!!

Our fmc is Elena. I really liked her. She is sweet, kind, a little reserved but once she opens upto you she is everything.
Our mmc's are Rafael and Leo. Rafael is her best friend's dad and Leo is Elena's Best friend's older brother. The plot was amazing. Whilst Elena is celebrating new year's eve with her best friend's, things take an unexpected turn when Rafael, Leo and Elena decide to do something crazy and do a round of 'Never Have i Ever' and everything becomes really intense when secrets are revealed. I loved their dynamic so much and I really want to see more of these 3 and how their relationship evolves and morphs into something more than just one night.
Such an amazing read. I hope we get more of these 3 🥰

I’m screaming!!! Izzy, you never disappoint. The TENSION omg Izzy it was giving!! I love a good “I shouldn’t want this but I do” moment and god this was perfection. Who knew some tequila and a not so innocent game of Never Have I Ever would turn out really right and give you the best start to the new years. Rafa and Leo gave the perfect mix of degradation and praise, and don’t get me started on the amount of times they asked how everyone was doing. CONSENT KINGS!! I love the way they were rough but gentle with Elena, they made her feel safe and secure. Ok, the banter? Was everything! Haha I was yelling “cállate cabron” at the book when Leo was talking at the end, until Rafa kicked him to shut up 😂. Like goddamnit my dude you’re about to get everyone caught 😂. Also, gracias por el antojo, ahora quiero tacos de birria.

I loved this so much. The yearning, and angst, the I-can’t-take-it-anymore-I-have-to-kiss-them-right-now. It’s perfect.
I adore Elena and Rafael coming to accept their attraction, and Leo just being like, "yeah, obviously." The resulting dynamic is excellent.
This is a super duper spicy novellette, but there's a delicate balance of plot and character building to it. It's a slow tease to a perfect new relationship.
It all wraps up really nicely, and I enjoyed every second I spent reading it.
I adore Elena and Rafael coming to accept their attraction, and Leo just being like, "yeah, obviously." The resulting dynamic is excellent.

Reading anything by Izzy makes me feel like a ✨puta✨ but in the best way😂
How can you complain when the book is less than 90 pages, you get your besties dad & your other besties brother and a fun game of never have I ever.
I loved the dynamic between Rafa, Leo & Elena. They all have this push and pull relationship that makes you laugh and wonder what exactly Leo has done in his life.
And the Spanish talk you get is always a plus 😮💨

When I tell you there is always one Izzy Ravas book that stick with me in my mind and my heart each year I mean it and maybe only 2 weeks into 2026, but this one could be it! I love the characters, the dynamics, the taboo, and the chemistry. Literal perfection the only thing I wanted was more like it could have gone on for 500 pages and I am not sure I would have my fill, but this one is amazing.
