One moment, I’m her photographer—fixing her veil, adjusting the light. The next, I’m standing over her body, blood on marble, screams echoing too late.
And when the men arrive?
They look at me like I pulled the trigger.
Frank Rizzo is the first one through the door. Cold. Dangerous. Ruthless. The brother of the groom. The man who decides my fate with one look.
I’m given a choice.
Marry him… Or disappear.
Now I’m locked inside his world—his estate, his bed, his rules. He’s thirteen years older. Powerful. Built to destroy. He doesn’t trust me. Doesn’t forgive me. And when he touches me, it’s possession, not mercy.
But the deeper I fall into his arms, the more the truth starts to surface.
My sister didn’t die by chance. I wasn’t framed by accident. And the people I loved most wanted me erased.
Then my body betrays me. I’m pregnant. With his twins.
Now I’m bound to the most dangerous man in Boston—and the only one who can keep me alive. Because in this world, innocence doesn’t matter.
Only power does.
And Frank Rizzo? He doesn’t just own an empire. He owns me.
Piper Raven is a Mafia Romance Author whose writing may cause you to become a professional page turner. Her lead characters are almost always sexy mafia men facing two opposing worlds. The world they were raised in with their strict codes of honor and a modern world that's forever in flux.
Steamy trope driven plots and sassy females will be sure to test each mafia man to his limit. Drama, passion and danger are the norm. Each story has no cheating or cliffhangers and always has a HEA ending. But be careful though, Piper Raven’s stories are not for the faint hearted. They have been known to get readers adrenaline pumping and their pulses racing. Reader discretion is advised.
This is a fantastic story about the Mafia and Frank and Aria. It is so well plotted and written. This story has so many turns and twists that it is so hard to put it down at the end of the day. The way the story is written it is so hard to figure out who is the real bad guys in this story. The sister becomes the first tragedy in the story and it makes Aria look like the guilty person. When Frank takes Aria to protect her it doesn’t become clear right away who is helping and who is plotting otherwise. Frank’s mother steps in to offer advice to Aria to help her figure out what’s really going on. Then Aria becomes in danger and Beatrice, Frank’s mother, steps in to help. When Frank finds out where Aria is and has a meeting with Don Conti, Aria’s father, and Beatrice he is finally told about what is really happening and who is orchestrating it. The planning against what is taking place becomes extremely complicated and so important. When the plan starts it is so important for Frank to play his part. The Don and Beatrice tell Frank about the plan at the party and to be on the lookout. Beatrice steps in to help, the Don takes care of part of the problem and Frank does the rest. Frank almost loses Aria to a medical problem. This story has a fantastic ending after so much violence and suspense throughout this story. I loved this novel.
I am only 37% through this book so far but needed to write this down so I didn’t forget later. This author needs help with timelines! The way she writes everything is happened, seemingly, within a week. Max. Evidently, more time has passed than that. We don’t know because she doesn’t say. Our main female character, Aria, evidently “knows stuff“ but we don’t know what that stuff is because it’s never stated. She’s going to expose people with stuff that we have no idea what she’s talking about. I guess they’re just bad guys. She has sex once, and now the guy is all possessive and she’s found her love and oh yeah, she’s pregnant. How much time has passed here? For example. Halfway through the book, she’s pregnant! The doctor comes in to confirm. The next page it’s evidently been at least a couple months because now she’s “rounded with child.” Seriously? I’m done with this book. It’s too confusing.
Aria Conti finds her sister dead—and quickly learns that grief won’t save her and family won’t protect her. Suspicion closes in, trust fractures, and survival becomes the only goal.
That’s where Frank Rizzo comes in—a mafia enforcer built on control and consequence. The power imbalance is sharp, the tension is relentless, and the attraction lives in that dangerous space where fear and want collide.
Dark, brutal, and intensely seductive. If you like mafia romance where the danger comes first and the desire follows, this one delivers.

It’s Gia and Vince’s wedding day when tragedy strikes. Aria steps away to take photos, and when she returns, her sister is dead. With blood on her hands, everyone believes Aria is responsible. Vince’s brother, Frank, takes her to his home to keep her safe while the truth unfolds.
This is an intense and engaging story filled with twists and turns—you may feel like you need a scorecard to keep up, but in the best way. I loved this book. It’s a true page-turner that’s hard to put down, and I highly recommend it.
I received this book at no cost and am leaving my honest opinion.
Mafia Don's Carnal Vows is Frank Rizzo and Aria Conti's intense, gap arranged marriage read. Frank and Aria, even though they didn't start out so great, ended up being completely perfect for each other.
"Power doesn’t always mean control. Sometimes, it means protection."
This story is full of drama, intrigue and suspense and kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.
"That’s what power really is. Not brute strength or bloodline or control. It’s love that survives war. That becomes something stronger because of the fire."
Book thirteen of The Mafia Don Series is incredibly captivating right from the start, I didn't want to put it down until I read the last page. Action packed scenes, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, desperation and sacrifice, acceptance and love, and twists and turns that make for an exciting and entertaining book. Highly recommend reading. I can't wait to see what Piper Raven comes up with for the next book.

This was pretty good. Aria was definitely given a crappy deal. No one in her family or future in laws seems to be who they say they are. This book is packed full of action and drama. So much was happening and I was thinking I was like 1/3 through the book, nope! I had barely cracked it! Frank's attitude and demeanor in the beginning definitely made it hard to see where he really was with Aria or Vince. In fact, throughout the book, it's very deceptive as to who is allied with who.
4.5 stars! Aria was the spare until something awful happened to her sister. Then she needed protection and help. Frank was the enforcer but there was something about Aria that pulled him to her. He lost control and it had drastic consequences. Little did he know you can't count on blood and that leads to a war that he has to win. Lots of good twists and turns that keep you reading to the last page.

She walks in on her dead sister and is accused of doing it and to stay alive The Don claims her as his own. Secrets, betrayal and sacrifices had me all caught up in this book and as they are unraveled I found myself connecting with Frank and Aria. It is a spellbinding story filled with thrilling twists and turns that made this a fantastic read.

Definitely a great book to read. Never trust anyone when you are in the mafia because you never know who is trying to kill you. Frank and Aria are a great couple, but when it comes to protection, he isn't so good at that. If it weren't for his mother, he would have lost his wife for good. When everything is revealed, it comes as a shock to Aria that a family member was in on it, and her dad was complacent throughout the whole ordeal.
Allow two days (or an extremely long one) for this STEAMY, twisted, fast-paced, action-packed, contemporary Boston mafia takeover attempt featuring age gap arranged marriage mafia romance, a mafia Don, carnal vows, abduction, betrayal, drugs, enemies-to-lovers, families, murder, pregnancy, rescue, single-parent, trafficking, twins, USB, dubious consent, and spanking.

Emotional, intriguing, intense well written packed with suspense. Two strong characters both being used as pawns. Dysfunctional Treacherous family members trying to destroy them. Blood is not always a stronger bond. A great read, don’t pass it up.

Watching the unexpected death of the one person she trusted. Being excised for her murder. He was to marry and get rid of her. When he did his own investigation, he found out the truth. Having two people they never thought would help them survive their nightmare.
It was not a whodunit story. It was a survival story.
I recently just finished reading this book by Piper and I fell in LOVE with it just like all of her other books in this series. The suspense packs a mighty punch in this off the charts dynamite book.
This one 110% pure adrenaline rush suspense right from the start. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop the entire time. Absolutely incredible. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book provided by booksprout.
This is a good series. Aria and Frank are good characters. The plot is good. There is action, a conspiracy, betrayal, and steamy scenes. Aria has good character growth.
I found this book to be an easy read that's enjoyable
I enjoyed this book It was an easy 1 night read. The characters were well written and the storyline was clearly defined. Parts of the book were confusing but all in all it was a good read.
This was a good book, I loved the story line. But I wished that she would have gotten back with her father... And let him be in the babies lives.. But good book still.....
Framed Aria wasn’t supposed to survive. She was meant to disappear. But Frank won’t let her. He’s made her his and he will fight everyone, even his own blood to keep her.
This story is absolutely amazing. The story was so well-written. It was so creative with tons of twists that I was not prepared for. It had so much action that kept me on the edge of my seat. Frank and Aria had such a complex relationship that caused so much sexy tension. I did not want to put it down! I definitely recommend!
