I sure didn't. I was just taking my dog out for his nightly walk, and the next thing I knew I had a wizard trying to kill me. Lucky for me, the three witches he's feuding with were there to help.
According to the witch coven, the craziest part is that I survived the encounter at all. I'm just Marcus Larimoore—insurance broker and typical middle-aged guy. The witches are, well...
Azalea is a gorgeous redhead who has been very interested in me since the moment we met. Cassandra is fascinated by me, and the beautiful blonde witch with her shrewd silver eyes makes me feel like she can see my heart beating.
Then there's Esme, the tall, domineering, and stunning brunette who has been annoyed with my presence since day one. The leader of the coven, the last thing she wants is a human in the middle of their fight.
But for better or worse, I'm stuck seeing this thing through to the end. I just hope that I live through it. -------- I Joined A Coven is a high-heat urban fantasy harem serial featuring a normal middle-aged guy and the coven of three beautiful and dangerous witches he's all tangled up with.
Ok. This should have been named as episode 1 rather than book 1. It sure read as an episode rather than an entire book.
The book did exactly what the synopsis told the book is going to do; It just expanded the synopsis to 83 pages with a sex scene and couple of kisses added in between. I will continue the series when the next book releases but hope it will be longer than this.
It was fine, looses all the stars for authors blatant cash grab. You can't ask for money for this, I read better longer crap online for free. I would have been a 3 or 4 easy if the author did the sensible thing and put these 'novels' as arcs in a actual book.
