From all that happened including the cliffhanger ending in Deadly Little Promises, book three in Kings of Bolten Academy series.
Book 4 Perfect Little Revenge was a whirlwind, emotionally charged ride all the way through.
Taking you through countless waves of highs and lows, considering the ups and downs all the characters seemed to navigating through. Specifically Bianca and the Kings Dom, Vin and Levin.
The plot was packed to the brim, grabbing ahold of you from the very beginning. Never letting you go, or stopping for one second.
The fluidity of the narrative just being NON-STOP GO, GO, GO, ultimately having you falling down the abyss that was Bianca, Dom, Vin, Levin, F-word and some others story.
Once again Devon Ryder’s performance as Vincent ‘Vin’ Valentino came through with hitting all the marks.
He proved yet again that he is Vin come to life with his narration, giving his all regardless of the scenes and emotions that call from within.
Anthony Palmini performance as Fallon Vasiliev continues to grow. He too brought the character of Fallon alive, giving his all. Particularly in the moments that called for strong emotions.
I have to say the more I hear his performance as Fallon, the more I continue to enjoy and like.
Jameson Adams as Levin ‘Levi’ Seeley did a good job with his performance too. Particularly when it came to bringing the emotions in certain scenes.
Despite some great performances, I can’t deny the audio narration had me in mixed emotions more so with this book than the previous books from the series.
In my opinion the audio performance from some narrators didn’t fully showcase the characters and their performance as well as it should have, given the great storyline.
Particularly when it came to emoting the emotions their characters were dealing with and suffering through.
I expected a lot more from Blair Thatcher as Bianca D’Angelou and Joe Arden as Dominic ‘Dom’ De Santis.
And unfortunately they didn’t rise to the potential they could of, seeing as there was major delivery to be had by both their characters in this book considering the problems and issues they both faced individually.
The emotions were just not there when it came to the aftermath of everything Bianca and Dom had gone through individually. Having expected Blair and Joe’s performance to be loud, clear and thoroughly expressive in their sound, with emoting the many waves of the different emotions their characters were facing, enduring and suffering through.
Particularly in the beginning for Bianca.
Seeing as Blair voiced other secondary female characters, I expected her to sound different so that the characters could be differentiated between. However this was not the case, seeing as her sound for both Bianca and the other female characters sounded exactly the same that if it wasn’t for the characters name being mentioned, it would have you thinking it is Bianca she is narrating and not someone else.
Since this was the case in certain scenes I heard.
In the end, although I enjoyed some of the narrators performances given their great performance delivery.
The ones that didn’t hit the mark unfortunately dragged the overall performance of Perfect Little Revenge a lot more than any of the previous books have done so.

Wow, what a freaking plot twist—it’s just a page-turner. You get so much answered and even more questions at the same time. It’s the 4th book in the series, and the plot gets thicker with each book, meaning you get more emotions, more drama & spice. I loved every moment of it!
One thing about K.G. Reuss: there are no breadcrumbs whatsoever. With each book, you’re left more speechless and wanting more—talk about signed, sealed, and delivered. Wow, that’s all I gotta say. It’s deeper, more emotional, more spicy, and has lots of character development, with one big roller-coaster drop that makes this read/listen top tier.
A lot is going on in this story, so make sure to check the
T/Ws. The author did a great job of giving the readers what they want and more—she left me wanting more, that’s for sure lol.
All honesty, I’m not sure how I’m feeling about a certain character. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt for his next move, but wow, I totally didn’t see that coming.
The narrators did a fantastic job of delivering the emotion / impact of the story, making it that much better overall. It’s amazing all the way around—this is exactly what I want when I say I want a dark romance read.
If you’re a fan of any of the narrators and the author, you’re definitely gonna love this series/book.

Omg!! The amount of plot in this book had me on the edge of my seat the whole entire time!
KG Ruess did an amazing job on this book. I loved how you feel all the emotions that these characters were going through. The narrators did such an amazing job portraying those emotions!!
I adored Vinny and Levin’s relationship growing! This was the perfect time for them to connect and the tease about Dom!
Drake being brought into the mix made me want more!!! And that cliffy!! Omg I need the next one now!!
The narrators continued to do an amazing job!

Okay…can’t wait for the next audio to release this is getting real good all these twists and and turns and I’m glad Levin told Bianca how she is because I couldn’t have said it better!
