On the surface, Claire’s life appears picture perfect. She has a loving and devoted husband, two beautiful children, and a quiet, safe neighborhood. Every Sunday evening, her husband leaves for a routine work trip and he always comes home.
Except this time, something doesn’t quite add up. Ben’s communication fades in and out, and at first, Claire brushes it off, chalking it up to the life of a man on the road. But as time goes on, unsettling events begin to unfold. A stranger follows her in public, cryptic notes appear, a tracking device is discovered on her car.
What Claire does not realize is how deeply connected these events truly are. And as time passes, danger closes in, revealing the dark truth.

This book was incredibly engaging and hard to put down! It was exciting, fast paced, and kept me hooked the whole way through. The main character was really easy to relate to, which made the story even more engaging. I kept wanting to read just one more chapter! Such a great psychological thriller! I highly recommend!
I really enjoyed Always Watching. At first, Claire’s life seems calm and perfectly ordinary, a loving husband, two kids, and a quiet neighborhood, but the story slowly begins to unravel in a way that keeps you on edge.
What I liked most was the slow-burn tension. The small, unsettling details, the strange follower, the mysterious notes, and the discovery of the tracking device, gradually build a sense of unease that makes you want to keep turning the pages. The author does a great job creating that creeping feeling that something isn’t right.
Claire was a compelling character to follow, and it was interesting to see how her seemingly perfect life begins to crack as the truth slowly comes to light. The suspense keeps building until the darker connections behind everything start to reveal themselves.
If you enjoy psychological thrillers that rely on atmosphere and steadily rising tension rather than constant action, this one is definitely worth checking out.
A solid first book for this author! The book was a pretty fast read—literally and metaphorically. I think I would have liked to have known more about Claire and Ben’s life before everything shifted. Everything was just so sudden but honestly, it was an enjoyable read!
What a wild ride! I didn't know what to expect from start to finish and waffled between the FMC being an unreliable narrator to possibly psychosis. Fabulous read.
