I absolutely INHALED Beneath the Fae Moon's Fire in less than 48 hours and I am now left with the worst book hangover waiting for book three!

Scarlet M. Honey's writing is pure magic - lush, emotional, and completely addictive. The stakes are higher, the romance is hotter, the tension is unbearable in the best way.

As book two in the Crown of Everguard series, this story explodes with drama, action, longing, and spice. I laughed. I stressed. I swooned... and now I sit waiting to get my hands on book three!!!

If you love epic romantic fantasy that consumes your soul, you need this series immediately!!!

Sequels can be tricky—so often they don’t quite live up to the magic of the original. Beneath the Fae Moons Fire not only avoids that pitfall, it rivals Fae Queen Rising in my opinion. Scarlett M Honey deepens the Everguard world, raises the emotional stakes, and delivers a story that feels richer, bolder, and hotter 🔥.

I absolutely loved the relationship dynamic between Roe and Niko—the tension, trust, and passion between them was beautifully written and extended far past the sexual tension. But what truly stood out to me was the feminine strength and sisterhood between Roe and Gayle. Their bond added so much heart to the story and felt empowering, grounded, and genuinely moving. It’s rare to see female relationships given this much care, and it made the book even more impactful.

The balance between plot and passion was perfect. Nothing felt rushed or excessive; instead, it all flowed naturally and kept me completely engaged. I devoured this book in just three days because I simply couldn’t put it down.

My only small wish is that there had been a brief synopsis or recap of where Roe’s story left off. Since it’s been almost a year since the first release, a quick refresher would have helped ease me back into the journey—but even without it, the story quickly pulled me right back in.

Now I’m left impatiently counting down until the next book. I can barely wait to see where Roe’s journey takes us next under the fae moon. ✨📚

A Captivating Journey Into a Magical World!

Beneath the Fae Moon's Fire by Scarlett M. Honey is nothing short of breathtaking. From the very first page, I was swept away into a lush, immersive world of magic, danger, and romance. The author has created an intricate fantasy universe where the stakes are high, and the characters are unforgettable.

The romance is steamy and emotionally charged, but what really stands out is the chemistry between the two main characters. The connection they share is not just romantic but deeply emotional, making their journey together all the more powerful and heart-wrenching. The plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat, and just when I thought I had everything figured out, Honey threw in a twist that left me gasping for breath!

The pacing was perfect, and the world-building was rich and detailed, with just the right amount of mystery. I felt completely transported, and I could easily imagine myself walking through the enchanted forests, feeling the pull of the moonlight, and experiencing the magic firsthand.

If you’re a fan of epic fantasy with a strong romantic thread, this book is a must-read. I can’t recommend it highly enough and am already looking forward to the next installment!

The journey continues! Roe is learning more about her powers and is on a mission to find her long lost sister. We also get to meet some new characters.
Scarlett's writing style is really coming along here! She has massively improved with this second instalment and this was very enjoyable. I definitely found this book more difficult to put down compared to the first, although I think that is normal as the first is world and character developing.
Really look forward to future instalments!
The relationship between MMC and FMC is really different here compared to other series, Niko is a quiet soul who doesn't have much to say or give away but is letting his walls down which I enjoyed seeing. There are a few bits of miscommunication but they get through it. Scarlett does a great job at helping me to envision the scene, the room, even get the taste of the food they're eating, and I love that. Her descriptions are really improving. And as always, the spice is spicing! I love who Roe is growing into and the connection between women and the importance of friendship.

I absolutely loved Beneath the Fae Moon’s Fire. I love how it started with action, immediately drawing me into the story and wanting to know more about Rowandine’s story.

I loved the theme of sisterhood between Rowandine, Gayle, and Pris, especially since having friends like that wasn’t something that Rowandine had growing up. It really was a wonderful reminder about how powerful sisterhood is.

I also loved the story between Rowandine and Niko. The gaining of trust, tension, and genuine care was written so well and gave a sense of realness to their relationship as they worked through everything. I enjoyed getting to learn about Rowandine’s past relationships with men, as it made it easy to connect with her.

The pacing of this book was perfect. There was an amazing balance of plot action and character development that made it so you never get bored. The cliffhanger ending also has me excitedly awaiting book 3 and getting to experience more of each character’s journey!

This book follows Rowandine, a fae princess and heir to a broken kingdom, subjugated by humans. A 35 year old widow, she makes a choice to hone her fae power and rescue her twin sister alongside her new beau. This book is a solid continuation of Roe's story and she travels into shifter lands, makes new friends and lovers and ultimately fights for the future of her kingdom.

This book has the right balance of spice and action--focusing on active voice and present narrative. A straightforward plot that clips along towards a wild and surprising ending.

If you like a strong female lead, romance, action, magic and discovery look no further for pure escapism and an easy read.

Engrossing and action-packed sequel to Scarlett M Honey's Fae Queen Rising, Princess Rowandine continues her quest to reunite with her long-separated twin and, together, defeat the Humans who are decimating the Realm of Everguard. Expect characters with depth, mystical races, lush and sensory landscapes, swash buckling conflict, magical villages, and slow-burn romance. Will the strong-willed Rowandine, bound by her moral compass and her sisterhood, save the realm? Hard to put down until the very last page.

I received an early release copy for book 2 and had to read book 1 1st. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this series and could not put it down. The fantasy world this series is built in, the growth of the FMC. All of it was perfect. Romance, love, betrayal, found family and elemental fae magic all flowing together seamlessly in this romantasy series.
My only complaint is that the series is unfinished and I have to wait for book 3. This series reminded me of throne of glass. I love the story and this author should be added to every romantasy reader's tbr list.

A fantastic continuation in the series, this second book dives deeper into Roe’s journey as she uncovers more truths about herself and the complicated, powerful bond she shares with her sister. The stakes feel higher this time. Full of sharp fights, tough choices, and moments where friendship becomes just as important as survival. All of this woven together with spicy romance throughout. A great progression of Roe’s story that expands her world, heart, and the danger surrounding her. I can’t wait for the next one!!

Beneath the Fae Moon’s Fire is the beautifully written sequel to the Crown of Everguard series! Roe has started to show her true self more and is starting to gain more confidence. The author did a wonderful job making the characters and setting come to life. I could even taste some of the food that was there!

Beneath the Fae Moon’s Fire is a captivating fantasy that weaves together high-stakes magic, sisterly heartbreak, and a slow-burn romance with impressive emotional depth. Princess Rowandine’s journey from shattered royal to rising Fae power is both compelling and poignant, especially as her revealed identity drives a painful wedge between her and her human sister, Licia. The world feels richly imagined, with volatile magic and political tension simmering beneath every choice Roe makes. While the grumpy Shifter romance adds a satisfying spark, the true heart of the story lies in the fierce sisterhood surrounding Roe, a warrior, a wise elder, and a loyal village whose bonds prove as powerful as any spell. Though a few plot beats feel familiar within the genre, the emotional stakes and strong female relationships elevate the narrative into an engaging, heartfelt read that leaves you eager for more.
