After teenager Beau Danning accidentally cracks the dome’s boundary and uncovers the truth about the world beyond, his actions trigger a catastrophic insect invasion led by intelligent, organized mantids under the ruthless General Karakis. Forced into leadership far too young, Beau and his allies—engineers, medics, pilots, and militia—must improvise weapons from scavenged human technology, wage brutal miniature warfare, and confront impossible moral choices as their safe haven collapses into open war. As the conflict escalates from survival skirmishes to full-scale military operations, the series explores leadership, sacrifice, and the cost of truth in a world where humans are no longer the apex species.
