I read this book to my 7 year old daughter. Both of us wanted to keep reading to the next chapter. Usually reading chapter books to her takes a couple weeks at least. We got through this in 4 days. Full of twists and turns and unpredictable which is what I like in a book. My 12 year old son even read to her and wanted to keep reading on. Full of imagination and fantastical creatures. You definitely need to read it knowing the authors are tween girls, but it’s written in three teen character perspectives so the tone really fits. It leaves us wanting to go right into the 2nd book. Good thing we have it already.
