New to Leslie? Readers suggest starting with 'The Bossy One' (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6BP3BBF) —Imagine a sunny Minnesotan Mary Poppins, employed by a grumpy Irish billionaire. The story is a blend of humor, revenge, passion, heartbreak, hope, and witty banter. As one reader put it, ‘This story had me squealing at the romantic moments and silly moments.’
Leslie North is the USA Today Bestselling pseudonym for a critically-acclaimed author of romantic comedies and contemporary romance. The anonymity allows her to fully express her creativity, especially in the romantic and fun sexy scenes!
In fact, she confesses to loving her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her everyday self! Her bestselling books are known for their strong characters, particularly women who aren’t afraid to challenge an alpha bosshole. And the humor? So infectious, you’ll be laughing out loud in public!
Leslie’s love for romance began when she picked up a worn-out romance book from her local library. She started writing soon after, and as they say, the rest was history. She now resides in a cozy cottage on the British coast, enjoying long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.
She LOVES reader feedback, and if you have any comments, don’t hesitate to contact her!
The first bit was setting up the story for the two then I will admit at one section it kinda plateaued for me for a little before it gained my attention again. While the two had a past with each other that felt like there was more to it, there was only a few flashbacks which i expected there to be more based on how Gwen was making that encounter out to be.
While Harrison uses work to keep himself distracted, toward the end it was setting it up for him to commit to changing however we really didn't get to see many moments like that. However, it was nice seeing that he had a different side compared to what most would assume he was like. I do really enjoy how the topic of the animal shelter was intertwined in the story and the fact that the one pup found his home. Both of the characters had their issues to deal with .
After a very public PR disaster involving a pop star’s furious fanbase, Harrison’s reputation—and business—take a serious hit. In damage-control mode, he reunites with Gwen, the woman he shared a passionate week with in Aspen… and then walked away from. Hiring her as his personal PR rep forces them back into close quarters, and the chemistry between them reignites fast.
This is a steamy, emotional second-chance romance with a classic “ice king melts” hero. When Gwen suffers a non-fatal accident, Harrison has to learn that love isn’t about money or grand gestures—it’s about showing up. Watching him figure that out was incredibly satisfying.

Gwen and Harrison had me all caught up in this wonderful story that is funny, captivating and all out drama. He is in need of PR for his company after another outburst is caught and goes viral. Gwen knows him from an intimate encounter, and he is the last man she wants to be around, but the money is good, and the job is temporary. Will their second time around be the charm that brings them together for a chance of happiness.

Gwen is in public relations. Hanson has offended Scarlett, a pop music icon, and his company, Ashford Jets need help. Gwen and Hanson had a vacation fling and when he shows up at her place of business, she is shocked. Hanson knows she is the best and hires her to help him. She intends to stick to business but there is still chemistry. I loved the people at Ashford Jets as they encouraged Gwen with her ideas. Carrying the ideas out in this book offered a lot of smiles. Great book about trust and second chances.
