Meghan Ciana Doidge writes tales of true love conquering all, even death. Though sometimes the love is elusive, the vampires and werewolves come out to play in the daylight, and bloody mayhem ensues.
I am emotionally exhausted. This story was so intense. The characters continue to evolve in ways I never expect. Zaya’s family keeps growing and I’m excited to see how these new threads develop, especially with Cal. And I can’t find the words to describe my feelings about the bonds with Rought, Rath, and especially Reck. So much ably Zaya and Reck makes sense now but is still heartbreaking. I can’t wait for book 4!
Giving this 3.5 stars because it started out with the three bothers being too alike-a-holes and not individual enough personalities. They were just the three R's.
And then the Conduit was written back into the story and maybe now im giving it 4 stars because I realize as I type this that might have been an intended start.
Without giving spoilers I can't say more - I hate spoilers, even when they are hidden so I will stop, other then saying the ending is good and makes me want more.
This book had a lot going on! Zaya was put through a lot of crap in this one, and shows her continued strength throughout it too! I was loving that we got to see more of Rath, he's been my fav if the three so far! I mean a dragon, how could I not be in love? Lol! The ending was chaos and heartbreak and some wtf just happened moments, but I can't wait to see more of Reck in the last book!
So good. This book answered so many questions and put all the pieces together. The ending is a little abrupt. I’m not sure if it is the ending of the series. If so, I want to know what affects/changes one of the characters will have and whether the last soul bound can happen.
This series just keeps getting better as more of the background story is revealed. I love ALL of the Guerra children and their interactions among themselves and with others. I know it's a good book when I'm disappointed it's over. I'm both bummed and excited for the finale.
This part of the series has felt more intense than the others, especially compared to the very start of the Dowser series. Enjoyed but felt more was needed the end was rushed. I’m hoping book four has a few more lighter moments.
