*ARC Review* I enjoyed Kaleb and Elena’s story. In comparison to book 1 of the series I enjoyed Kaleb more as the main character. The way he tries to see perspective and communicate is strong.
I thought that the characters had some depth when it came to communicating how they deal with the stress, more so Kaleb than Elena, but I think it would have been nice to see some more of the difficult conversations occur to help watch them grow as a couple. Overall a quick read that I enjoyed.

Deadly Obsession is a fast-paced dark romance that pulls you in immediately with obsession, danger, and intense emotional attachment. The story starts with Kaleb already watching and fixating on Elena, and from there it never slows down.
Kaleb is deeply possessive, protective, and controlling in a way that fits perfectly with the tone of the book. His feelings for Elena are strong from the start, even though she barely knows him, and the story leans fully into that “obsessed from the beginning” dynamic. When Elena is in danger, Kaleb doesn’t hesitate—he moves her to a safe house and makes protecting her his entire purpose.
Elena is shy, sweet, and painfully lonely. She’s not used to being cared for or prioritized, especially coming from a family that never truly acknowledged her. Watching her slowly process what it feels like to be wanted, protected, and loved was emotional, especially as she struggles to trust something she’s never had before. I am grateful to have received an eArc in advance from the author to read and review for this book. This book was fun and sexy and kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was happening around the corner. Even though it is technically a continuation of Sinful Secrets, I feel like it could be read as a standalone if it had to be. Enough background blurb is given throughout, without boring the reader who's read the first book. I love how the MMC in the one is hot and possessive and wants to take care of the FMC at all costs, but at the same time, he has a soft spot and he is so incredibly considerate and has a good head on his shoulders. I really loved the way this book flowed. I didn't want to slap any of the characters and the level of "action" and the pace of the storyline was wonderful! The spice is a 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️!!!! Phew, so good and not for the faint of heart, come with an open mind!!! I highly recommend this book for those readers who just want to get lost in a great storyline and have some fun!!

Besties... NGL (Not Gonna Lie)... At first, the pacing came in hot and I started side-eyeing a bit👀. But honestly? I ended up enjoying it! The fast pace kept the tension tight, the suspense sharp, and I never once felt lost or like anything was missing.
Elena starts off very naïve, sweet, and demure... (FYI: normally not my go-to FMC for dark romance) BUUUUT she grew on me in a quiet, emotional way🥰. Her world unravels fast, and watching her adapt made the journey worth it.
And Kaleb... Protective, obs€ssiv€, and fully in his 'touch her & di€' era. The bodyguard + stalk€r-ish vibes hit just right.
Book 2 sealed the deal... this series officially grew on me, and now I need more of Kaleb’s brothers… starting with Asher 👀😏 TBR-worthy? Abso-Fawking-lutely!!

I loved this book even more than book 1!!! Holy moly!
Kaleb has my heart and I want him for myself! He can stalk me all he wants I would cave so quick just like Elena did!! He so protective and overbearing with her but it’s sexy as hell so it works out!! Elena’s world was flipped upside down and every time she thought she got her footing something else came and tripped her up. But Kaleb gave her calm, and I love how well they fit together!
It was so fast paced. Some things flew by super quick but the amount of detail that was put in helped move the story along so it didn’t feel rushed. I love that certain parts didn’t get drug out to make the suspense and tension higher. Everything resolved quickly and perfectly to give a perfect end to this story.
I cannot wait for book 3!!!

Finished this in one sitting. I’m officially obsessed with Kaleb King! If you love a dark romance with a protective, stalker MMC, this is a must read. I was smiling like an idiot from the very first chapter!
The FMC is so precious. Despite the betrayal from her family and how fast everything was moving, she stayed so kind-hearted and resilient. I’m so glad she held herself together through all that trauma. Also, the sibling bond in this book is everything (as one of six kids, I’m jealous! lol). And the matching tattoos? Too cute, I’m still screaming!

ARC review: It’s official. Ava and Dom have a competition now as my favorite in this series. Don’t get me wrong I adored their love story but Elena and Kaleb’s just hits a little different and I’m here for it. The love connection they developed while dealing with several different challenges just shows you what can be done when two people are fully invested in each other and I live for that stuff. 100/10 will recommend to everyone.

This was such a good read. I was hooked from start to finish. The way this man followed her, loved her, and then showed his love was pure chef’s kiss. The obsession. The devotion. Everything about him had me swooning. And that ending had me in a full oh snap moment.

So I found EM on Instagram and got instantly hooked with the very first book I read because they will have you in a chokehold!
Forget the smut I mean it’s there but the story alone will keep you invested!!

I absolutely loved this book and devoured it anytime I could. The characters and the story line is so interesting and engaging I never really wanted to put it down. The ending actually shocked me. Also the spice was a big plus also 😏

Kaleb is absolutely obsessed and has no shame in it. He’s protective, stalkerish, and willing to go above and beyond for his girl but don’t worry, he’s got a soft center reserved just for her. Elena is understandably skittish around Kaleb, especially considering everything she’s dealing with. This is a fast-paced story where the plot moves quickly, delivering the drama early and the love story just as fast. And yes, we still get all the messy drama mixed in, which made this such a quick & enjoyable read for me since I wanted to see them get their HEA.
*Though I did not fully connect with the story, I recommend that you give this story a chance. It could be just perfect for you. Diff flavors for us all!

I read this as a part of E.M Rose arc readers and so glad I did. Kaleb and Elena were the slight stalker, alpha male stubborn female dynamic I needed. You get touch her and die vibes, dom/sub and more. I loved that we got the loose ends from book one tied together into book two.
