But apparently I can’t handle one fiery, freckled disaster of a woman walking into my classroom wearing a wrinkled T-shirt and breaking every rule I live by.
She’s late, she’s mouthy, she’s gorgeous… and she sees right through me.
I’m supposed to be teaching business, not losing my mind over the girl with too much on her shoulders and no clue how breathtaking she is.
When I ask her to be my fake date to a wedding, it’s supposed to be simple—clean, controlled, forgettable.
Then she kisses me like she’s starving, dances with me like she owns me, and wrecks every wall I’ve spent years rebuilding.
I should walk away.
But I can’t—not when I find out how hard her life really is, how fiercely she loves, how much she’s been carrying alone.
She’s losing the one thing that matters most to her, and I’m the jerk whose company is about to destroy it.
I can buy anything… except forgiveness.
And I’ll burn my entire legacy down before I let the world take her smile from me.
Have we met? No? Well, that's a shame, but let's fix it.
I'm a former firefighter and EMS guy who traded emergency calls for romance novels. These days, I write stories about bad boys, billionaires, military heroes, and the kind of men who occasionally make questionable decisions before finding their way back to what matters most. Love.
I live in Texas with my wife, our three kids, and enough animals to qualify for a small petting zoo. Life is loud, busy, and wonderfully chaotic, which is probably why I enjoy disappearing into stories where love somehow manages to win in the end.
At the heart of every book I write is the same belief: life can be hard, but a great love story reminds us that hope, healing, forgiveness, and second chances are always worth fighting for. And to put your mind at ease, I don't use any AI in my books. They're all fully flawed and done by humans. No way in hell I'd give my job to a machine when it's the reason I get up in the morning. So put that worry to bed.
Instead, grab your favorite drink, find a comfortable spot, and stay a while. The real world will still be there when you're done.
Ellora owned and operated a thrift store in a neighborhood where everyone knew everyone else. She did everything she could to breathe life into her business, but none of it seemed to help. Her next step was a business class at the local university taught by Holden Langton.
Holden was so much more than a professor teaching a class. He was a billionaire businessman who wanted to do more with his life than make money. Teaching was his side job. What he really did was revitalize business districts and had a big project teed up and ready to go.
Before his pet project happened he had a wedding to go to that his ex wife was certain to smugly attend. She had made him feel like she was always trying to prove something to him, so he hired a beautiful red head from his class to show his ex that he had moved on.
The main characters are people we like a lot, both with lots of spunk and also a bit of pain. This is mostly a “falling in love” story, but also about putting people first and never giving up. Sweetly mild spice and a few tears thrown in made this a beautiful romance. Five stars.
Ellora Kinney lives in New York where she owns a vintage store. A love something old or gently used that could be refurbished, she learns from her mom, Sara. When her mom’s memory started to fade rapidly and things got real, she brought her to New York, so she could take care of her. Those Chicago winters weren’t good for her, and there wasn’t a way Ellora could move back home since the store she owned was in New York, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Neither of them was settled in yet, though they would be. Soon. They had to be they had no other choice. However, her mother bumped into her while she was serving her the spaghetti and the sauce went down her top. What she had to do now, was find a clean top, fix her hair, and maybe pretend her life wasn’t falling apart in about twelve different ways. So much for making a good impression on her new professor and showing him she was a professional businesswoman.
No instead she was arriving in a frog cartoon top so wrinkled, that the print on the shirt wanted to jump off out of embarrassment. What else could she do it was the first thing she could reach out of the box, since they moved to the new apartment. She didn't want to leave her mom alone, but she had already paid for the class before her mom had come to live with her. And it would help her business if she had to go. Before she left her mom asked if they were going to the beach. Ellora told her, no she needed to go to her class, and then her mom said, okay maybe tomorrow.
That interaction and those words her mom did on repeat always broke Ellora’s heart. As she knew would happen Ellora arrived late but as she opened the door it squeaked like crazy making the professor stop what he was doing and Ellora stop in her tracks. Professor Holden Langton was younger than she’d anticipated, early to mid-thirties she’d say, and he was tall. He kept a quiet, restraint as he examined her from head to toe, and she didn’t dare give up the illusion of safety at the door.
He was the hottest man she’d ever seen, and she looked like a pile of dirty laundry with an anxiety disorder. “Find a seat,” he said. Not loud. Not rude. Just commanding. Her cheeks were on fire. She ducked her head, letting her hair fall forward like a curtain. Ellora wanted to become invisible. So much for first impressions. She’d wanted to come across as confident and capable, the kind of woman who owned a small business in NYC. To show him she knew what she was doing.
Instead, she’d shown up late, sweaty, and wearing a cartoon frog. Ellora knew her concentration was shot, but she knew the professor’s was too. Because even though he didn't mean to he kept making eye contact with her. She sank a little lower in her chair, gripping her pen like it could save her from spontaneous combustion. Fearing her professor may use her as an example of what they should not do. That they needed to learn to manage their time and clothing better.
She felt like a Hot Mess! She seriously needed this class the vintage thrift store she’d built from scratch was suffering more than even the oldest, most beat-up item in it. The blue-eyed demigod scrutinizing her as he handed out their syllabus might be the only person able to help her save it. Nobody was coming to save her or her mother. She had to do it on her own. When class was over she stayed to apologize to the professor for arriving late. However, he told her to apologize to herself because she paid good money to be there.
She said she didn't do it on purpose, but supposed nobody did. Holden couldn't have just left it, oh no. He told her he had some advice but was afraid of how she would take it. “When you start like that, you’re probably right.” “There’s technically no dress code for class but—” “Oh, here we go.” “See? I knew you were going to get upset. You don’t even know what I’m going to say.” “Fine.” She crossed her arms, chin tilted up in a kind of unspoken challenge. “Go ahead.” “Some of the people in this class could end up being your colleagues one day.
You might have to negotiate deals with them. Part of being successful is looking successful. And this?” He gestured at all of her. “Nothing about this screams successful.” Now with that opening, you wouldn’t think that these two would find a way to each other. The question is can they hold it together? Or are they too different? This is such a great love story but also such an emotional relationship between a daughter and a mother who is rapidly slipping away. Tissues may be required.
Ellora and her mother, who suffers from early-stage dementia, have just moved into their new apartment in New York, and she, owner of a vintage thrift shop, is on her way to a night class in business studies. There she meets wealthy Professor Holden Langton, owner of Langton Development which is revitalizing several blocks of old stores in the Upper East Side. Little does he or she know that they are immediately attracted, so when Holden needs a fake date for a wedding that his ex-wife will also attend, he offers Ellora a business deal she can’t resist. But that deal turns into much more as they decide to take advantage of the hotel hosting the reception to explore their feelings in the bedroom, which turns into a magical night of sizzling passion.
Even though the wedding was to be a one and done, Ella and Holden can’t stay away from each other, and when he learns about her mother’s rapidly accelerating dementia, he spares nothing to grant her a last wish. He also advises Ella how to better attract traffic for her business as he falls more in love with her, but, as fate would have it, after he closes on his Renewal Initiative project, he learns that Ella’s store is on the list for demolition. So Holden is faced with a dilemma: follow through with the original design and lose Ella or find another solution that will satisfy his directors and Ella.
Weston Parker eclipses his previous works with this beautiful story that had me laughing, crying, and entirely mesmerized from beginning to end. The sub plot involving Ella’s mother is treated gracefully and contains one of the most exquisite, sublime scenes I’ve ever read, and when it climaxed, tears were trickling down my face. If you love wonderful characters, a tightly woven story line, luscious landscapes, and mind-blowing romance, don’t miss Do it With Me. I am certain you will appreciate it as much as I did.
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
Weston Parker’s Do It With Me is a heartfelt contemporary romance that balances ambition, vulnerability, and unexpected connection. At its center is Ellora, a determined small-business owner trying to hold her life together while caring for her mother, whose memory is slowly slipping away. When Ellora crosses paths with Holden Langton, a powerful real estate developer used to control and careful distance, their worlds collide in a way neither of them planned. What begins as a convenient arrangement quickly deepens into something that challenges their priorities and forces them to confront what truly matters.
What makes this story stand out is the emotional layering. The romance is intense yet tender, but it never overshadows the deeply moving subplot involving Ellora’s mother. Parker handles the realities of dementia with sensitivity and respect, allowing those moments to add weight and authenticity to the story rather than using them as mere background drama. Holden’s growth throughout the novel is equally compelling—watching him wrestle with the consequences of his professional decisions adds real tension and raises the stakes beyond the love story alone.
Do It With Me is more than just a romance; it’s a story about choosing compassion over convenience and love over comfort. Weston Parker delivers characters who feel real, flawed, and deeply human, wrapped in a narrative that is emotional without being overwhelming. Readers who enjoy romances with strong character development, meaningful conflict, and a lingering emotional impact will find this book hard to forget.
I received an ARC of this book and am sharing my honest opinion.

What a beautiful love story that will grab your heart. He's a billionaire real estate developer with a frozen heart and a nightmare ex.. She's Miss Sunshine with more troubles than most but a loving heart. A floundering business, a loving mother with dementia, a beloved neighborhood retail community about to be demolished by a developer. Ella and Holden meet when she takes a night business course so she can learn how to save her business. He's her drop dead gorgeous professor. Their initial meeting left much to be desired and let's just say he didn't make it to her 'nice' list. Things change when she agrees to be his 'fake' date for a wedding. There was no way she could turn down $50,000 when she needed $ for her mother's care and her business. She sees another side of him and finds herself falling for him. Their chemistry was off the charts and he was so caring about her mother. The beach trip was phenomenal. What happens when she finds out he is the one destroying her business dream? What happens when he finds out where her business is located? Drama, angst, hurt, betrayal and more. No spoiler here, but this is a book you don't want to miss. An HEA, no cliffhanger. I read a free arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Weston weaves a fantastic story, with ups and downs, add in a little spice and weĺ another great read I received an ARC copy from the author and freely give my review
This was a great story with lots of emotions and dealing with dementia which Weston handled extremely well! Holden and Ellora meet when she takes his business class at the local college to get a better grip on what is needed to boost her business at the Thrift Shop she owns. Holden is not only a professor but is the CEO of Langton Development which buys up properties and redevelops them into bustling mini communities. Holden is taken with Ellora on the first night he sees her and makes her an offer as his fake date to a wedding he has to attend which his ex-wife will also be at. The chemistry these two have is off the charts but they are both preoccupied – he with his properties which is getting ready to seal the deal on his biggest one yet, and she with her mom whose dementia is progressing at a very fast rate. When I say the emotions are intense, they will have you laughing, crying, heartbroken, happy, frustrated and rooting for a happy ending. This is a great read with lots of spice!!!!
Do it With Me, book thirteen of the Wedding Bells Alpha series follows Holden Langton and Ellora Porter. Ellora is a small business owner who lives with her mother, who is suffering from dementia. While taking a night class on business, Ellora meets Holden, her professor and the attraction is almost immediate. They talk, and Holden offers Ellora a deal.. come to a wedding as his fake date. Of course, things aren’t always so simple when Holden and Ellora share a hotel room after the wedding and sparks fly, leading to a magical night together. Even though the wedding is now over, and their time together has passed, Holden and Ellora keep running into one another. When Holden hears about Ellora’s mother, he tries to help her fix her business, but as they grow closer, Holden realizes that Ellora’s store is one of the ones being demolished by his firm to make way for his new Renewal Initiative Project. Will Holden be able to go through with his original design to demolish Ellora’s shop, and lose her in the process? Or will he change his plans and save Ellora’s shop?
Ellora is trying to balance looking after her mother, her business and school which isn’t always easy. When she arrives for her class she is late and frazzled but she still makes quite the impression on Holden, her professor. When he offers her an arrangement which would be a solution to her financial woes by attending a social event it is too good of an offer to pass up.
Holden is a successful property developed and a professor. He was attracted to Ellora from the first time he saw her and he wants to help her personally and professionally. As the chemistry between them escalates so do the feelings between until they realize that his business success might cost Ellora hers and choices must be made.
Ellora and Holden take us on a journey that is sure to touch your heart as it not only deals with the relationship between them but what Ellora is experiencing when it comes to her mother and what she is feelings s relatable.
There are an assortment of emotions so you get some of everything. It's delightful! Ellora and Holden are just adorable and steamy! He fell hard and fast when he said he was done with commitment! Divorce can do that to a person! I really enjoy reading the fake, paid for romance, it's interesting. Tenderness, sadness, laughter and many more ways to keep you on your toes! The supporting characters are amazing. Straightening out a misunderstanding can be painful for both parties involved, but it is a must do and not a choice! Thank you Weston, your talent is extraordinary! You keep writing and I'll keep reading! I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author, and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
This was such an emotional story that I was in tears at times. Ella, trying to run her own small business, whilst looking after her mum who was suffering from early onset dementia was heartbreaking enough, but when she found out that it was Holden who was buying up the business properties which included hers, I really felt for her. To be fair though, Holden was a decent man and provided Ella’s mum with her visit to the beach, which was another emotional time. Once he found out his plans affected Ella’s business, he was committed enough to her to change his plans, and convince his board to support the changes. A great read with two strong characters who still had issues to overcome before they get their HEA.
Another great one from Weston Parker!! I fell in love with Ellora and Holden from the start. They had such chemistry from the start. Here comes Ellora barreling into Holden's class right when he needs to find a date for a wedding. He offers her an opportunity at just the right time. She is dealing with a mother with advancing dementia and a struggling business. He is drawn to her. As they grow closer spending more time together and he is working on his renewal initiative project their paths collide in more ways than were ever anticipated. Can their growing feelings survive the obstacles that have popped up in their way. The gentle way that the dementia story was written was so well done. This was a wonderful read.
Elliora enrolled in an evening class on business to get some ideas on how to improve her struggling retail business, Second Story, the class was being taught by mega successful businessman, professor Holden Langdon. Holden started teaching the class as a new challenge. Holden is sworn off love since his messy divorce a few years ago, and Elliora has no time for romance between caring for her mother and trying to keep her business afloat. Then Holden is told his ex-wife has been invited to a wedding he is also attending, has to attend for business purposes, and he gets the idea of taking a fake girlfriend to keep his ex from winding him up… I received this book as an ARC and found it an enjoyable story with some twists and turns along the way!
Weston has sensitively shown the challenges of caring for someone with dementia and the toll it takes on the caregiver. This is a heartwarming story of a small business woman, Ellora, who’s dealing with keeping her business afloat and caring for her Mother in her home. Enter one self made billionaire, who has build up his business and reputation by revitalizing neighborhoods. When Ellora takes his business class, it starts a business deal that turns into so much more. Holden finds that Ellora brings light to his life and does some investigative work when he realizes just how much needs to be done for dementia. The story is also about community and how to not tear down what works. One of Weston’s best stories.
Wow just fall This book touches so many areas and yet was an easy read
If you like books that have real life problems, Sassy women, And billionaires that sometimes get confused on what needs to be done and how. Then this book is for you. The author starts a story With a man Who has money and has forgot the values of friendship. Then she takes you through Which I thought was an interesting twist to the story about dementia And the effects of it in a family. She blends both of those things into the story which should seem longer than it was. And then it turns into a love story which was slowly progressing as the book Went on. I enjoyed this book, I enjoyed the characters and I enjoyed the storyline immensely. I recommend this book Highly.
I thought this book was really good. Ellora is exactly what Holden needed to help him evolve from an uncaring developer into a loving and caring person. Although you can anticipate the ‘third act break up’ from the beginning of their story, there is so much more to their journey and you can almost forget about the dark cloud hanging over them because they have such a heartwarming love story before that revelation comes to light. And I thought Holden’s redemption grovel was pretty epic. I loved the way things worked out.
In this book there are some very touching elements that are turned into teachable experiences. Ellora is taking care of her mother who is going through a degenerative condition. Her character is so genuine and her emotions are realistic. Holden is a billionaire businessman who found happiness in teaching. They are attracted to each other. Their story takes them through individual, personal growth and learning about each other. This story is a very good read.
Ella is miss sunshine and Holden's heart is frozen. Ella takes a night business course to see if she could to more to save her business. Holden is the professor. Ella doesn't like him at first. He made her a offer that she couldn't turn down. Being his fake date to a wedding and them spending some steamy time together chance the way she sees him. Holden is the one that wants to destroy her business. What will happen when she finds out. This is a great story that will keep you hooked until the end. Will they have a happy ending?. Grab a copy!
This is a wonderful and heartfelt story of two people who are both trying hard in business, just at different levels. Ella owns a small thrift store. Holden owns the block her store is on, and plans to demolish it for new highrises. There were a few heavy, emotional scenes in the book, and I appreciate the thought the author put into the reality that many dementia caregivers go thru each and every day. I loved every minute of this book. Every laugh, every cry and all the feelings in between. Great job, Weston!
Another fantastic book that will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end and left wanting more from these characters. Holden is a CEO and also a Professor so when he has to go to friends wedding that his ex wife will be there,he needs a date .thats when he meets one of his students Ellora who us struggling with her business and taking care of her mom. When he offers a fake date for cash will it turn out more ? or will his company destroy them both? its such a great story and heartbreaking all in one. loved it.
This book had me from the blurb. I fell in love with Holden. Yearned to be Ellora. Kept n turning the pages to become more enthralled with their story all while knowing (and dreading) the moment when they realized the truth that couldn't help but tear them apart. I laughed. I cried. I swooned. I cheered. And I felt every single one of the feels. Although I am usually not a fan of books written in first person POV, I loved this one and now have a new author whose books I can't wait to read!!!!
Elllora Kinney was a small business owner whose shop is failing and her mother is suffering from early onset dementia. She signs up for a night class to learn better business strategies and the professor, Holden Langton, is super hot. Sparks fly immediately and the book heats up quickly. It's a great read with never a dull moment. I didn't want to put it down to go Christmas shopping. Weston scored with another winner!
Ellora has a business, a mother with dementia and she's taking a class to try to help increase business at her store. Holden is the owner of a developmental firm and a part time professor. His firm is taking over the block her store is on to build a new structure of high end retail and apartments. He needs a date to a wedding for one of his contractors weddings. He asks Ellora, his student, not realizing she is one of the people his company is taking over, to the wedding ...
A beautiful, emotional story with engaging characters. Ellora was so bright and funny but has troubles with keroing her store afloat. She meets Professor Holden in her business class and he offers her a deal for a fake date. Their relationship continues as she has to deal with her mother's dementia and is unaware he is the developer trying to level her block. I really loved this and it had me in tears.
Ellora and Holden, the down on her luck student and her billionaire Professor. Sparks fly whenever they are together. He’s divorced and doesn’t want a relationship and she’s trying to make ends meet and doesn’t have time for a relationship. But not everything goes as planned. Loved the book, I laughed and I cried! Don’t miss the extended epilogue. Priceless!
Do It With Me is more than a fake-dating romance. Weston Parker balances chemistry, emotional depth, and real-life challenges incredibly well. Ella’s strength and devotion to her mother felt genuine and heartfelt, while Holden’s journey showed real growth beyond his billionaire status. Tender, steamy, and surprisingly moving — a story that stays with you. This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
This is my favourite book by Weston and one which I’m sure I’ll read again. The story stars Holden and Ella. The characters are delightful. I loved the way Holden cared for Ella. Holden is a billionaire and Ella owns a Thrift Shop. Her mother suffers either dementia. A developer wants the property Ella’s store is on and she’s about to lose her shop. When Holden learns about Ella’s mom, he flies them in a dream holiday Ella's mom has been asking for.
All sorts of emotions are central to this story. Miscommunication, misunderstanding, listening but not hearing... Ellora and Langton know a lot about each other except the most important fact about each other - he is the developer planning to develop the shopping center that houses her thrift shop. They have highs and lows but once they sit and talk, after Langton manages to change his plans with the development Ellora agrees to give him another chance. Loved the story
