Non offensive fluffy magic. No real depth, world or character building and the FMC definitely lives in too stupid to live land half the time. That said, it was an ok book. It had such potential but nothing at all was done with the plant magic which is why I picked it up in the first place.

stopped after book one.
storyline was fine. had some not so bad twist.
but, I like at least a little romance sprinkled in and this had none. maybe there is some to come, but it was too 'meh' for me to keep going.

Great characters. So much fun.
Loved this series. Great characters. Interesting twisty story lines. Loved Billy and Gus becoming friends. Found family is the best.
