Her main genre and focus is Romance, though she's acquired a good many hats within that spectrum.

Historical fiction is a drug.
Dark romance is non-negotiable.
Love is more binding than the spine of any book.
Elliott is a firm believer in the Savior, and credits all her success to His name.
After all...He's the one who told her she can do all things.
He also still reprimands her on a regular basis of all the smut she continues to read.

I’m starting to think HB Elliott can NEVER miss...I legit pick up her books and suddenly nothing else exists. I'm so happy to have come across this beautiful woman and her addictive reads. I have been obsessed with each one so far!!!
This futuristic kinda Frankenstein inspired story completely had me HOOKED. It’s beautifully written, the perfect length, and the kind of book you tell yourself you’ll read “just one more chapter” of… until you’re done.
I just always love me a dual POV, being inside both Adam and Eden’s heads was mesmerizing. You don’t just watch their story unfold, you feel it. And the mental health representation? It hit me HARD. There’s a rawness to Eden’s pain that feels personally real, especially if you’ve ever struggled with feeling broken or “too much.”
Both characters see themselves as monsters, and that ache just runs through every single page. I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning, just hoping they’d find something they deserved after all... something like real love.
And it’s not just Adam and Eden who I fell for!! Victoria, Matt, Jenny, and even all of the little critters scattered throughout added so much heart to the story.
Dark, damaging, with a story you'll be unable to put down.. I honestly can't recommend this author enough!

H.B. Elliott delivers a captivating and emotional story in Adam & Eden, blending familiar Frankenstein-inspired elements with a fresh and imaginative twist. The story grabbed my attention right away and kept me invested from beginning to end. It’s the kind of book where you sit down to read a chapter and suddenly realize you’ve read five.
One of my favorite aspects was getting both Adam and Eden’s perspectives. Seeing the world through each of their eyes made their journeys feel incredibly personal and layered. The exploration of feeling different, damaged, or misunderstood was handled with care and added a meaningful emotional weight to the story.
The supporting characters were equally memorable and helped bring even more life to the world Elliott created. The writing flowed effortlessly, making it easy to become immersed in the characters’ struggles, relationships, and growth. Although there were a few places where I wished certain moments had been explored a little further, it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment. I am simply in awe of this book. I grew up reading and watching stories of Frankenstein but I have never seen or read it portrayed in this way. This story is absolutely beautiful in every possible way. I received this as an arc from the author and I am so glad I did. The story of Adam and Eden is unputdownable and I fell in love with them and the other monsters in this story. There’s so much to say about it all but I want everyone to experience this for themselves. H.B. Elliot is an amazing author and I will read anything she writes. Highly recommend!!

Frankenstein's monster and his bride
I absolutely loved this story. An updated telling of the romance of the monster and his bride. But this was better than the original because Adam had human emotions that were understandable. Eden was also very relatable with her emotions. These emotions are what made me love this story.
HB Elliott tells some great stories!! I've loved every one that she has written. I'm looking forward to the next one already!

This book is so well written. The mfc is feeling so unloved and goes through a tough life that she volunteers to be part of some experiment. She meets some bad people and some good. She learns that she deserves love. The mmc also is going through some troubles and trying to learn who he is. This is a wonderful Frankenstein retelling that you will not want to put down. I highly recommend this book.

This is my first time reading a book by this author. It did not disappoint. This was an emotional and engaging read that kept me hooked from start to finish. I loved this Frankenstein-inspired retelling and found it hard to put down once I started. The story was easy to get into, and I was completely invested. A great read overall!

This love story is heart felt and amazing modern day Frankenstein. When Eden lets her walls down things amp up and he is a man you don’t want to mess with. It had me in my feels that I can relate to. Just read it.

This book was out of my norm, but if HB Elliott writes it- I know I’m gonna love it. She did it again. Love her writing. This book was poetically beautiful. A modern day spin off Frankenstein. Only our monster gets his HEA in this tale.
Lots of incredibly unique twists. The imagination that went into this story was so fun. And somehow a flower, Satine, is pretty much a character of its own and became my favorite.
We get two POVs bouncing between our FMC and our MMC, which I always love how HB Elliott gives us both sides of the story.
If you loved Frankenstein but always felt bad for the monster-this is the story for you! If you love broken souls and healing journeys- also, this is for you.
