Vixen Ignited was such a fun and refreshing read. I absolutely loved seeing mature characters front and centre — it made the story feel confident, bold, and empowering.

Denise is rediscovering her sexuality through a forbidden workplace romance with her boss, John, and I loved watching her go after exactly what she wants, unapologetically and without worrying too much about the consequences. Her journey of sexual reawakening was engaging and empowering. John was equally enjoyable — attentive, caring, and genuinely romantic, while also discovering new sides of himself along the way.

This book explores BDSM, Dom/Sub dynamics, kink, sexual rediscovery, and workplace romance, and the spice level was 🔥🔥🔥. It’s a spicy little novella that delivers heat while still giving you characters to root for.

I flew through this one and can’t wait to see where Jordyn Haart takes this story next 😁

ARC Review
2.75⭐️ Rounded up

Vixen Ignited is a quick fast paced erotica story, Denise and her boss John start a BDSM relationship after John buys out a lingerie store. This read like a wattpad story, and there were multiple grammatical mistakes throughout the book. if those were fixed i would rate higher, as the scenes were good.
Thank you to Booksirens for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

From page one, this book had me hooked. It was a short read packed with spicy scenes that have yet to leave my head. This book is a true example to never surpress your kinks no matter the age. Denise, really allowt her hidden feelings and bdsm kinks to come to surface, after years of locking them away. Proving, your never to old to let loose and have pleasurable fun! Would definitely recommend this novella!

*Possible Spoilers*

If you're looking for something short and sweet, and by sweet, I mean spicy 🥵 this novella is it. Vixen Ignited by Jordyn Haart humor, romance, and a good amount of spice for the length.

Denise is a 42yr old divorced mom of 2 and business woman who is tasked with purchasing lingerie for an upcoming conference. Her boss, 50 something (also divorced) EX-NFL star, John, has just purchased said lingerie company and wants to have clothing examples for the BDSM enthusiasts at the upcoming conference... let's just say, this book proved being middle aged, doesn't mean you can't still feel sexy. 🔥

I'd rate this book around ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 . For being a short story, you actually get a good amount of depth from the MCs, especially the FMC. Both characters are middle-aged, which I found refreshing being almost 40 myself. The FMC was relatable as a mother with insecurities, and the MMC was sweet, patient, and understanding. The spice is about🌶🌶.5 - 🌶🌶🌶 even with only 1 full scene. And it ends with a HEA. 💕 ✨️swoon✨️

The writing was decent. However, I think the way the chapters were structured was a bit off-putting, and the book could maybe use some extra editing. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Vixen Ignited is a gripping, emotionally charged read that blends tension, vulnerability, and quiet strength into a story that keeps you turning pages without realizing how deep you’re in.

The main character is layered and compelling, carrying a sense of resilience that feels earned rather than forced. The pacing is steady and immersive, balancing introspective moments with scenes that crackle with intensity. What really stands out is the atmosphere — there’s an underlying ache throughout the story that makes even the quieter moments feel heavy with meaning.

The writing style is smooth and easy to sink into, and the emotional beats land naturally without feeling rushed. It’s the kind of book that doesn’t rely on shock value, but instead pulls you in with feeling, growth, and tension that simmers beneath the surface

The book opens with some workplace drama/fantasy romance, speeds right into the spice and stays there. It's short on story and heavy on the character's foray into BDSM. A little awkward considering there really isn't a build of any type of relationship between them beforehand. I will give credit though that the author does include a lot of emphasis on consent and safe words, and the respect for both during their scenes.

*Short spicy novella with a huge emphasis on BDSM. Definitely check the triggers before reading if you feel you need to.*

I received a complimentary copy of the book and am leaving a voluntary review.

Boy, was this a surprising Rollercoaster where I never knew where it was going and where it would end. This keeps you on the edge of your seat for until the very last word. Denise's confidence and her character seems realistic. I was so engrossed in the story that I almost forgot about the promotion. I see that this is a trilogy and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next. There's no way that these two can stay secluded in their bubble. My favorite scene was the shopping spree. It almost felt romantic. The story, the character, and the pace is intense all the way.

I have a like/dislike with this book. The MMC is a strong dom and the FMC is a strong sub in a BDSM relationship. If you don’t like BDSM, this book isn’t for you. It’s 100 pages of BDSM and maybe 65 pages of plot building the characters and their relationship together. There were some great chapters and some not so great chapters where it felt like the characters fell apart. They go from enjoying a mansion to walking at a farmers market to buying skirts at a fashion store—made zero sense. I was lost there. I think with some strong beta readers this book could’ve been polished to perfection!

First I'd like to thank the author for the opportunity to be an ARC for this book.

This was a slow burn with spice and plot. I was interested from the first page and finished it in one sitting. There was a good amount of spice but I loved that it didnt take away from the plot. I will definitely be recommending this book to my romance girlies.

The only reason this was not a 5 star for me, is due to it being in third person. As I do enjoy some writing like that, I feel like this book would have been taken to another level had it been written as first person with dual point of views.

I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is a quick MF office romance read with boss and co-worker relationship exploring the BDSM world with each other in private. Definitely offers the spice but check the triggers. I enjoyed it going right into the spice page 2, not much on deep plot, didn’t like that their story didn’t finish and I have to wait until book 2, lol.

Initially I felt like this jumped into the 'action' too fast without a lot of strong character development but as the book proceeds you learn a little more backstory. Ultimately I'd say character development isn't the #1 reason why you might read a book like this. It was a very quick read that kept the story moving and it was HOT!

I seriously can't wait for the next novel, actually the rest of this triology. Will leave you wanting more. A very well written storyline by the author. I recommend not bypassing this novel.
