Blood and Lies had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The suspense is constant, the twists and turns pull you deeper into the story. I really enjoyed this quick, gripping read.

This fast-paced thriller novella follows a sex worker who is kidnapped and held captive by a serial killer who believes everything he’s doing is part of an elaborate, twisted game.
The story is told through multiple perspectives, shifting between the captive, her captor, and the detective investigating the case, which keeps the tension high and the plot incredibly gripping throughout. Getting an insight into each of their minds really adds to the psychological depth and makes it such a compelling read.
It’s a quick but intense read that I flew through in a couple of sittings though could easily be done in one!

Overall, a really well-written, gripping thriller that I would definitely recommend! 🙌

I just want to start by saying Wow! What a captivating book, I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of this book not knowing what turn will happen next, for a first attempt at this genre of book it does not show! Sensitive topics were covered but handled with class and appropriate level of detail! I had sweaty palms and heart racing moments and a high level of satisfaction with the ending

'Blood and Lies' was an absolutely fantastic novella and I struggled to put it down! I was constantly kept guessing until the very end with various plot twists keeping me on the edge of my seat!
