It’s finally peaceful and comfortable…until he meets the young and gorgeous Ellen, an escort. Will history repeat itself?SAMPLE 1:“If I really like the guy, Rob, I usually kiss on the first date” and she rose on her tip-toes and presented her lips to me. It was a scorcher and when we broke the kiss Robin said, “I could stand a steady diet of this. Want to try again tomorrow?”At the end of our third date when I walked Robin to her door, she turned to me and “I’m a very direct woman Rob and when I see something I want, I get it. I want you Rob.” She opened her door, stepped inside and then turned to me and “Coming?”SAMPLE 2:“I think it is time for me to collect, Annie.”“Collect on what?”“It is time for you to have that dinner with me.”“I wondered if you would ever get around to that.”“Is that a yes?”“A debt is a debt and has to be paid.”Besides being drop dead gorgeous she was smart, witty and fun to be with. We shared the same tastes in music, books, films and sports. She didn’t fall in my bed right away, but for a change I didn’t care. I just liked being with her. We necked like a couple of teenagers and on our sixth date she “Enough of this stupid playing around. Take me to bed.”SAMPLE 3:Don’t panic, baby, I’m not looking for anything out of it but sexual satisfaction.”She went to her knees in front of me and her mouth took over from her hands. After a minute or two she stood up, sat on the kitchen table and spread her legs.“Start my day off right, lover. Feed me your sausage and then I’ll feed you pancakes and we will see where the day goes from there.”We never got dressed that Sunday as we followed each other around the house and made up for lost time. That night Ellen moved out of her bedroom into mine.
My second reading of this magnificent book. I changed my rating from 4 to 5 after becoming more aware of these authors' challenges. What a satisfying journey. Cheaters are suitably punished. Bob with his upright character finally gets what he deserves.
I blame all of the mc,s character problems on his way of accepting anything and everything bad about the women he hangs with In my day at 18 to 30 If I ever saw a man accepting a day of marcies actions she would have been gone ....for good ,no second Chances. I grew up in an era atv least where I was from if he or she did it once they were bound to do it again .Bob says he gets tired of hearing about men being too hard ,or too soft . we called it just plain stupid and most !men that are in that category never seem to.become smart enough to grow out of it . some even get married and divorced 4 times, break off engagements at least two times , and have a slew of relationships that just never work. It is always the girl or is it bad choices by the guy As In This storie. Is it because the guy knows what the girl really is but being as stupid as he might be just accepts the bad that gets worse . Be smart and take a good lolk a lot and andat who are with .keep.a.sharp.eye and a strong situational.awareness of what is happening around you and if you are unhappy in a marriage man or woman ,do one of two things, talk and get counseling ,or leave the marriage In the end you will be taken to tasks
