The War of Lost Hearts Series – 2-Book Collection Set brings together Daughter of No Worlds and Children of Fallen Gods, an epic fantasy saga of magic, resistance, and powerful emotion.
Daughter of No Worlds- introduces a former slave determined to claim her freedom and protect others like her. Gifted with rare and dangerous magic, she is thrust into a world of political intrigue, secret alliances, and rising rebellion, where trust is hard-won and every choice carries a cost.
Children of Fallen Gods- expands the story as ancient powers awaken and the stakes grow even higher. War looms, loyalties are tested, and love is challenged by sacrifice, betrayal, and destiny. As past secrets come to light, the fight for freedom threatens to change the world forever.
Together, these novels deliver a richly imagined fantasy series filled with strong characters, slow-burn romance, moral complexity, and high-stakes adventure—perfect for fans of epic fantasy with emotional depth.
I've been concerning teachers and parents with mercilessly grim tales since I was roughly nine years old. Since then, my stories have gotten (slightly) less depressing and (hopefully a lot?) more readable. Today, I write fantasy novels with a heaping dose of badass ladies and a big pinch of romance.
When I'm not writing, I'm working at my day job in cybersecurity marketing, watching too many movies, or drawing. I live with my fiance, one very well behaved rabbit, one very poorly behaved rabbit, and one perpetually skeptical cat in Rhode Island.
I was so lost by the introduction of this new character's POV for about 75% of the book, and then when it got tied in it just felt to me that this wasn't the way to do it. It just felt like it should have been a Novella for me.
The book itself is depressing, but it's war time so I understand that. I didn't feel like too much happened.
