Perfect for readers who love cozy mysteries with dogs, small-town suspense, clean amateur-sleuth whodunits, and heartfelt character growth, this thrilling mystery raises the stakes while keeping things warm, witty, and delightfully cozy.
When Cozy Mystery author, Patti Benning, isn’t busy plotting the deaths of multiple fictitious characters, she loves to spend time hiking with her rescue dog, Max, who is her bestest writing buddy.
Patti loves to cook and the food in her books has been tried and tested in her very own kitchen. She’s technologically shy, and stays away from social media a great deal, because it makes her feel more awkward and introverted than meeting someone face to face.
Writing is the perfect job for her because in her books, she gets to explore all the topics she loves, food, animals, crafts and reading. She loves her readers dearly, and is thankful for the opportunity to share with them through her work.
Who knew that attempting an expansion to the kennels would lead to so much drama? This was a very entertaining story with so much content packed into it that I read it in one sitting. This series keeps getting better and I do hope there are more books to come.
Getting reliable contractors are not easy task as subcontractors suddenly back out. Murders of course n the air as things get dangerous. Plus her friend moves out which sparks a new love interest but is it for real? Sadie will have her hands full as always.
This was such a good but short story. The kennel gets to be renovated. But there is trouble in the area. But some really good stuff comes along too at the end. Too bad this story is so short!
