Whitechapel

Rate this book
A horrifying terrorist attack has left Trafalgar Square in ruins and London in chaos.

But was it really the work of terrorists? As one of the survivors of the attack, Colin Mitchell isn’t so sure. No sooner has he snuck out of hospital than he finds himself the target of a mysterious group of highly-trained mercenaries determined to finish the job.

Who are they and why are they trying to kill him? The answer may involve a secret society that exists right at the top of British intelligence – an apocalyptic cult whose methods may have changed but whose ultimate aims, for Colin at least, are terribly familiar.

Colin knows he has to move fast. The world is tilting towards war and the bombing may only have been a small preview of what's coming next.

This is a sequel to Deadline https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... a book which I thought was Meh also a book I read in 2017 so I had pretty much (completely) forgotten

Whitechapel is an absolute unputdownable action adventure thrill ride that while straining credulity never breaks it..

HEY HOLLYWOOD This needs to be a movie, I would pay to see this movie
Our protagonist is a younger, fitter, funnier Robert Langdon type who stumbles into a terrorist plot and has to do his best to stop it while never knowing who to trust. He's more McGyver than McClane his wits being an important part of his ammunition

Read Deadline first! This is an excellent and exciting book. Picks up where the first book stopped. Couldn't put this one down. Had me guessing all the way from beginning to end.

Read Deadline first! This is an excellent and exciting book. Picks up where the first book stopped. I couldn't put this one down. More action and twists than the first one, if that is possible. Had me guessing from beginning to the end. One of the best books I have read.
