Truth may be hard to see when you are in the middle
I rate books based on three criteria. First, does it follow what God's word says. Second, after reading the book does the Author stay true to the topic or does he/she ramble. Third, Conan I use the book, and the message to better my walk with God. My decision is that this book rates all five stars and more. My three criteria was met, I was challenged to stay in God's word and my walk is the better for reading "If You Change Your Words It Will Transform Your Life"!

Food for thought.
I still prefer Charles Stanley, Adrian Rogers and Jerry Bridges more...but I really do need to think about my speech and seeing people as God sees them...even when they aren't very lovely ;-)

Good Read
Read while on vacation in Charleston, S. C. It really helped me to think about my choice of words while listening to a friend who is wondering what to do with an ex who has treated her very poorly in the past. I told her to not follow her heart, but to follow God instead. She was confused. I explained that if she seek God first, he will guide her heart in the right direction. We tend to allow our feelings to guide our heart, which at times can lead us back to a heartache.
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. ( Proverbs 4:23 ).
Also, has given me inspiration to lean on God for my desire to run again.

I immediately started putting this lesson to work in my life, for I could clearly & definitely see how this was needed in my life. I had to repent & ask God's forgiveness for all the harshwords & thoughts that I had unthinkingly spew from my mouth. Thank you God for such a blessed reading. I now contemplate what & how I should speak before I allow words to spill forth from my mouth. A change is there for US...
If You Change Your Words It Will Transform Your Life
What a great awakening... not sure what I was expecting I read and received the message and now I know what God would have me to do before I chastise my Grandchildren, or speak idle talk at work with co-workers. I want my words, life to be a Blessing to others. When I'm done with the troubles of this world I pray I'm remembered fondly, now in woe. Amen

Change your words will change your life.
The book was a challenge to change what I say, can change my life. I would recommend to everyone there is power in the talk. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Lead God lead you. Examine yourself before you speak. Speak in love.
