Encouraging and challenging.

This mini devotional challenged me to consider how God wants me to look to Him each day in faith, humility, praise, and gratitude. I was also encouraged to continually walk in His spirit and pray throughout the day.

Lifelong Change

We with some of the other books by this author, I truly enjoy this book. Adam Houge makes the scriptures come alive. He provides the "how to" approach of God's Word into our lives. The "how to" approach is what's missing in the Body of Christ. I normally do not complete any devotional books; however, this book a different than any devotional books I have purchased. I will definitely return back to this book from time-to-time. I will be implementing a lot of the insights into my life especially in the areas I have/am struggling in. I have several favorite parts of this book; however, there is one section I find very intrigued, life-changing and interesting. This section is about "giving thanks in everything." When you read this section, it will cause you to re-read the words two or three times. This as hard it will be to give thanks in the most prestigious situations, I will give thanks to the impossible. I truly recommend this book as a must read.

This book is a must read for any Prayer Warrior. I read it on Kindle but I’d also love a hard copy to add to my library. The inspirational text, the Scriptures used, and the prayers shared have infused my prayer life with more fire and pizazz! This is a wonderful book and I plan to read everything the author has written.

A good reference for praying when it seems like God does not hear all of your prayers.

I find this book a fantastic reference to help improve your prayer life during times of a silent response from God and you do not know how you have distanced yourself from him. God is good all the time, sometimes we are not as close to him as we would like.

There are days when we need to put on the full armor of God, and this prayer warrior book goes into detail about that. It is a good devotional book.
