Loved this book! Outrageously funny with so many laugh out loud moments. Sunday is hilariously relatable despite the extreme circumstances in which she finds herself. Can’t wait for more!

Holy f*ck! What a ride! I finished this little Aussie gem in two sittings only because life was demanding me to do life things, otherwise, I'd have knocked it over in a day.
I should have told the world to f*ck the f*ck off so I could continue with the important business of absorbing a highly relatable yarn, supporting a local author, and laughing the pîss out of myself at Sunday's adventures, antics, mishaps, and triumphs. She's the new Aussie, middle-aged, perimenopausal hero I needed more than I knew, or maybe her creator is.
Sunday screams at the foolishness and tiresome pretension of the world in a way I wish I could, built up from decades of women bending and changing to the will and whim of others that chips away at our authenticity and steals our vitality.
She is fallible, uncompromising, brilliant, snarky, cynical, hilarious, loving, loyal and accomplished and knows how to have one hell of a holiday.
Read it in bed, on the beach, in a boat, on a balcony, on holiday, in a hammock, in the sunshine on your patio, on your lunch break, in a boring conference when you're pretending to take notes, in a f*cking church for all I care. Just read it. Sunday, and Meaghan are worth it.

A laugh out loud fun story, easy to read, relatable characters and well written. Felt like I had a holiday in Greece - it was so atmospheric. Do yourself a favour and just dive in. Great holiday read.

Sunday Reilly might be my new favorite female protagonist. She's hilariously relatable even when she finds herself in the strangest circumstances. I actually laughed out loud while reading this book. Highly recommend for a good time and a quick and fun read!

This book had me going from laughing uproariously, to nodding my head knowingly (as a woman of a certain age!), to gasping & saying No Sunday, just don't go there! All while set against the backdrop of the magnificent Greek Islands, revealing the deep love Meaghan obviously has for that part of the world.

A crazy titled book for a crazy book! So many off episodes in this book. I almost gave up on this book, but the ending was so good, I’m glad I finished. You never know what life is going to throw at you. We’ve all been there.

The book, itself, is rip roaringly funny. I rarely read books that are humorous and this book is exactly that. The plot is simple and is driven by endless hilarious inner and outer quips by the main character. The only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the editing style. It was hard to get into the book because there are not quotations around any dialogue so I found myself stopping, reading slower, or rereading to see who was saying what or if it was not dialogue. Once I adjusted to this (took a while to) it was an easy and entertaining read. I understand why the quotation marks were emitted but it did get in the way of really enjoying the book.

This book was both lighthearted and heart warming. I am not at Sunday's point in life but even a fictional character tackling menopause with humor is nice to see.
Mostly ridiculous, but in the best way. I can promise you won't see things coming during this read. My main complaint is I wanted more at the end! Maybe if we are lucky there will be another book about Sunday.

I really thought I was going to love this book, but unfortunately, I just didn't connect with it at all. I didn't find myself invested in the characters or the story. Sadly, this book wasn't meant for me. I'm sure it will find its audience elsewhere.

Sunday is all out of f*ucks to give and thank God for that. She says all the things we are thinking but are too polite to say out loud. From the very first sentence (trust me), her hilarious misadventures capture every anxious, complicated and flabby challenge of being a woman of “a certain age”.
Meaghan is a phenomenal talent. The story flows beautifully and Sunday’s internal dialogue is LITERALLY what’s going on in my head most days. The descriptive writing is so good that I could almost taste the saganaki and salt air of the Aegean. Hmmm… can I please flee to a Greek island too? I’ve already got my Sensible Walking Shoes.
Whether you’re navigating the circus of menopause or just need a reminder that it’s never too late to blow up your life and start a new chapter, you HAVE to read this clever, relatable and wickedly funny book. One of the best Fu**ing books I have read in a long time.
We find our heroine at the end of her tether, finacial issues, ex husband issues, grown up children, everyone still demanding everything but only for themselves, never considering that sometimes women have a breaking point. Said breaking point ends up involving a hilarious, heartbreaking and heartwarming trip to Greece.
Sunday is such a real human, no matter your age you will end up relating in some way to her. If you are over 30 and have kids, bonus points, over 40, female and have kids this book is a way of screaming into the void and feeling seen at the same time. From 3am to physiotherapists some part of this book will at some stage make you put it down and have a cry, a laugh, maybe even cringe a bit with secondhand embarrasment and it will be worth every moment.

I am absolutely in love with Sunday! This book is one of those rare gems that makes you laugh out loud on public transport and not even care who's watching.
Sunday is the kind of character you instantly want as your best friend—flawed, funny, real, and so incredibly relatable. Her voice feels authentic, like she could walk off the page and into your life. I found myself nodding along, thinking "YES, exactly!" more times than I can count.

I would want Sunday Reilly as a friend. Meaghan has created such a real human who thinks the way I think and has reached that same age where we just say it all out loud. Why keep it in ! Every character in this book was so well described that I was already building a movie cast in my mind. I could see the specific actors becoming these roles. Every situation felt so realistic. By the end I wanted more. Need more Sunday in my life.

Sunday Reilly is a flawed, courageous, funny, angry and insightful main character. I read this book and loved it. I then bought copies for my sister and some friends just so that I could discuss it. You start laughing on the first page and then travel on a delightful journey of empathy, understanding, surprise, and laughter. This book is fantastic.

I read this in one go because I needed to know Sunday's story! Well paced with plenty of witticisms, Anastasios brings Sunday Reilly to life. She made me cheer her on and completely invested in her story. Cannot wait for a sequel!
