The author takes you to many places in Britain and describes her adventures there. Her sense of humor had me chuckling throughout. (Ex: Our guide pointed out that some Georgian places still us 18th century mowing equipment....sheep!!) I would very much like to take this book and retrace all her steps. If you are going to Britain (or dream of doing so) and like literature and want to experience authors lives, this is the book for you.
