MY MOST FAVORITE COVER AMONG ALL—so pretty and tranquil. Like their daily life. WE LIVE FOR VEIL, Y’ALL. This is just so beautiful and wholesome, I can’t get enough. I hope we get veil as a treat every year to come. Ugh, seriously, this cover makes my heart melt. I could stare at it for hours.

Read this early days of January this year, so gratifying for the changing year. Ah, my heart.

BANGER AS USUAL AND STILL MY NO1 MANGA. I'm actually so devastated that it's over. I might indulge in the Italian version to learn Italian. Haha! Beautiful art and marvellous storylines as usual! I thought we were only being fed on twitter by Kotteri but now that I found out about the manga's new volume I've devoured it so fast!

review of whole series [7 books] // this series felt like being embraced, wearing a fancy, fluffy sweater under a snowy night sky, while listening to lana del rey (specifically say yes to heaven). well, maybe those aren't the perfect words to describe the homey feeling this book reeked of. but this definitely gave lana del rey vibes, i can confirm that.

⠀ ⠀emma ⊹ female lead ⟢ a blind rich woman who loves dressing up. beautiful but cheeky, and some might say she’s quite a bit of trouble. she cannot see beauty, but she understands it. perhaps more than a person who can see does. 𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖

⠀ ⠀aleksander ⊹ male lead ⟢ a tall handsome officer who has a mean glare (but emma says his glare isnt mean). he’s quiet and loves reading, but he’s truly himself when he’s with emma. she’s trouble for him, but the trouble’s worth it he says. (did i forget to mention that he dresses up emma?) 𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖



⠀ ⠀the love between emma and aleksander was never spoken aloud, nor did they even kiss on the lips once this whole series, but i could still feel it. like a gentle breeze on a sunny day. the two of them not only enjoyed each other's company but also understood each other, making the story even more magnificent.

⠀ ⠀and i believe the fact that emma had never seen aleksander but understood and adored him so deeply added to the allure of the story. i also loved how patient aleksander was with emma- how he’d let her trace his face with her hands, how he’d dress her up, how he’d stick with her when they went outside because he always worried about her, how he’d be rough with everybody around him but spoke gently towards her, how he’d joke with her, and how he’d treat her like a regular human being even though she was blind.

⠀ ⠀i have no idea how i fell so deeply in love with this book, since i have a short attention span and cannot focus on a book if it isn't devastating or full of action, and this book did not contain a moment of action or conflict. it was purely cozy. maybe this will be one of the mysteries of life that’ll never be solved.

⠀ ⠀overall, i might cry by the fact that this is over… aleksander and emma will never be forgotten as long as i live, for i shall always hold them in my heart. im convinced the only reason why a person could hate this book is that they didn’t understand the deeper theme of love this series portrays secretly.

oh i love them so much they are literally living my dream relationship ma frustreaza un pic faptul ca se spune despre ei ca sunt “situationship final boss” pt ca they are more than that si sincer ador faptul ca nu au nevoie sa puna in cuvinte ce este sau nu este relatia pe care o au sau daca se iubesc sau mai degraba cat de mult se iubesc si cum nu este totul ceva gen “m ai fi iubit daca eram un gandac” si cum efectiv nu au nevoie de reassurance pt ca stiu pt sine cea ce sunt, nu au nevoie sa demonstreze nimic nimanui si stiu si fara sa o spuna ca se iubesc they’re just enjoying each other’s company and that’s enough for them and i love that si mi ar placea sa traiesc intr o lume in care lumea nu mai are nevoia asta de a dovedii ca au relatia perfecta sau nevoia de a auzi ceva ca sa poata sa creada acel ceva ca fiind adevarat as vrea ca lumea sa se bucure de compania pe care o primesc fata sa se gandeasca asa mult la ea si ce inseamna sau de unde vine atat timp cat se simte corect si safe
anyway i can talk about things like for forever but then this review nu o sa mai fie un review soooo i love this manga i love the art style i hope this manga never ends its so good so cozy so cute i only have love for it

I’m delighted that we got new Veil content, especially with all the hype the manga has been getting. I’ve enjoyed all the earlier volumes, and just when I needed more, it was delivered.

Alexander and Emma’s moments are just so cute. The art is wonderful, I could stare at it for hours. After I read this volume, I went back and reread all six previous ones because the art is so comforting. It’s interesting to be the reader in such intimate moments between the characters. I especially loved the last scene when they went walking at night. Alexander telling Emma she has a “moon hat” was so cute.
I’m a bit agitated that I’ll have to wait a while for more, but it’s “peak” and “peak” takes time to create.

A pesar de amar a Emma y Aleksander, la insistencia de Kotteri en no etiquetar su relación cuando está más que claro lo que siente cada uno, se hace repetitiva y frustrante. Sigo admirando su manera de plasmar la intimidad no sexual en sus dibujos pero ‘you can only do so much when nothing happens’
