This was a quick glimpse into Killian and Story’s life when she was a sophomore living as his stepsister at Christmas. His dad insists that he take her to a big party. Killian does, but not before laying down the rules to her. She gets in a bit of a situation, he gets her out. Then they have a brief interaction that lays the path to the future when they are both at Forsyth. It was interesting to see how Killian’s obsession with Story started.
If you haven’t read Lords of Pain by Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue, it’s book 1 in the Royals of Forsyth series. Each group of royals has a trilogy and the Lords are the start of it all. Forsyth is a dark, bully, RH series with quite a few triggers. Make sure you check them out before starting the series.
