This is probably my least favorite book of the series so far. Ultra-bleak because I really did enjoy this series, but the last few books just felt "blah" to me.

Devon becomes an instant mother of 10 year twins when her best friend died. A one bedroom apartment wasn't suitable for her new life which led her to house hunting with a small budget. Buying this old house gave her more than she bargained for when she began seeing and hearing things.
Her neighbour Camden is a detective and gets the 'woo woo' cases due to his insight.
This story had a crazy plot with so many layers, I just couldn't put it down. A possible serial killer in their midst, ghosts in the backyard and a possible possession about to happen. Devon is stronger than she looks and has abilities beyond the norm.
Betrayal of the worse kind has set off a series of happenings that involved the children. The suspense, the build up and the scary moments. What a brilliant story.

Stories with ghosts have always been a no no with me until I started reading Dale Mayer's "Psychic Visions" stories and now I am hooked.
Devon Blue had known her best friend, Tabitha's twins for all their lives, she had taken them on trips, sports days, and especially when Tabitha became ill with cancer it was Devon who attended parents evenings, school plays etc, so it was Devon who Tabitha made promise to take care of the children after her death, and so Devon became stand in mum to ten year old Tabby and Toby.
Money was tight on Devon's dental hygienist's salary but the twins needed a home, Devon was over the moon when a lovely cottage in a quiet area came on the market at a ridiculously low price, the children were ecstatic, this was the house that they wanted.......Devon was soon to understand why.
Devon's friendly next door neighbour, Detective Camden Hurtwell, was always on hand to help out when needed, this was just the break that Devon needed.........or was it ?
Strange things started happening, things were appearing outside the house and they were multiplying, things that Devon thought only she could see but she was wrong, Camden could also see them.
It soon became clear that this house had a history, a history that had rocked the town, a history that was about to impede on Devon's life, a life that was now in danger.
This is a story of betrayal, of plotting and conspiracy, the woo woo factor is of the scale as Devon and Camden with the help of Stefan put on the fight of their lives and also help Camden close a cold case of a serial killer, Oh, and of course Devon and Camden fall in love along the way. Gripping story, can't wait for the next one.

This is one of my absolute favorite series, I've read every book starting with book one. This book was well-written with well-rounded, unique characters, and a fast-paced plot. I was immediately drawn into this tantalizing tale and kept hooked from beginning to end. Devon was a fabulous character who takes on her friend's children then deals with all the ups, downs, and the secrets that are slowly revealed. There are multiple layers to this story as well as several twists and turns. This fascinating read has intrigue, romance, and suspense along with the paranormal aspect that includes more than ghosts. Dale Mayer is an incredible author and storyteller whose books allow you to escape for a while. And even though this is a long series, each book is fresh and introduces new characters while bringing back others. As with all of the Psychic Visions series, I absolutely loved this book. I highly recommend both book and series.

Detective Camden Hartwell lives next door to the haunted house. He was surprised to see someone move into it. He’d seen the shimmering around the house, and it’s increased since the lady and kids moved there. Lucky him, he can see ghosts. And it ends up Devon needs his and Stefan’s abilities for what’s coming.
When I think that Dale Mayers has awed me with a storyline, another fantastic one comes out. So unusual and unique. This one had me on pins and needles because of what was to happen.

Whenever I think an author just can't write anything better, more intense or mind stretching, they prove me wrong. Absolutely brilliant and explosive story, emotional, scary and psychologically gripping. Unbelievably fabulous characters, Devon and Camdon as well as the twins. I totally get wanting your mum back after loss. I understood Devon's seeing her mum and the feeling of comfort but still not believing she would just come home. I've been there, thankfully I had my dad and family. This was a suspense build-up to rival all, it was kept fraught right to the end. I was left grateful but tired still going over everything that happened, a very real book hangover.

I enjoyed reading Remnants so much . It's one heck of a Psychic Thriller . It's book 29 and every single one has been outstanding . The characters are unique and amazing . The storyline is an intense twisted tale . It definitely kept my attention. I'm not sure I have the right words to describe this sensational story . Devon didn't know what to expect when she agreed to raise her best friend's children after her friend lost her battle with cancer . But I'm sure she definitely didn't think it would be the nightmare that she stepped into . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

(4.5) What a creepy thriller this turned out to be. I will be looking out for the "pretties". Devon leads with her heart, and it has gotten her wrapped up in a world of trouble. Camden her next-door neighbor is a copy and somewhat familiar with psychic issues, so he's given the "woo-wo0" cases. Toby and Tabby are twins going on 11 yrs old, loss their mother to cancer. There are a lot of layers in this one with some surprises. This one did a little pulling on the heart strings, and also made me want to reach through the pages. Thank you for the advance copy. A horrific example of doing something out of love?

Or a hideously greedy act?

Devon was already struggling with taking on Toby and Tabby, but when their new house appears to be threatening them and attracting strange entities..she is at a loss of where to turn or what to do to keep them safe.
This book is heartbreakingly harsh, especially when Devon finds herself in a checkmate situation of a game she wasn't even aware was being played!
I really like Devon and I am glad Camden is close enough to be able to help her. But the betrayal and the vile murders they uncover are horrific and haunting.
It is always great to touch base with Stefan and his input is definitely needed in this case.

I loved Devon as while her whole life changes due to a tragedy resulting in her raising twins Toby and Tabby, she moves forward ensuring she does the best by the twins. There are definitely a few layers to this story that kept me turning the page needing answers as well as wanting to know what would happen next and why was it all happening and lets not forget I really needed Devon along with the twins to get a HEA with Camden!.

This is Book 29 of Psychic Visions. I’ve read every single one of Dale Mayer’s Psychic Visions books and have loved them all! Remnants did not disappoint! I loved the characters and the storyline. Although Devon agreed to take on the responsibility of her best friend’s twins after she passed away from cancer, she was not made aware of what that role truly meant. The consequences of that promise turned out to be life threatening and shocking. What a ride this novel takes you on. So many twists and turns. I highly recommend this entire series!

Devon, Camden, the kids and the house. What a great read. I love the way Camden and Devon are brought together. But those two kids and their mother had way too many secrets that Devon wasn't aware of until after moving into that house. I liked and despised those kids at the same time because of their mother. You will know why when you read the story. Stefan even makes an appearance. It's another great story in the Psychic Visions Series. Way to go Dale.

I read it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down.
From the start when we are learning that Devon has had a trauma that has caused her to completely change her way of life.
She has to move into a new house where strange things start to happen.
I don't want to give anything away so that you can be surprised when you read it, just know that you won't be disappointed 🥰.

This was a great book. Devon and Camden click immediately when they meet after Devon moves in next store with her best friend’s twins after their mother’s death. Camden helps Devon out when she starts seeing things in the yard. Then the twist. Wow, that shocked me I didn’t see it coming. Then another twist with the house itself. It kept my interest and also kept me wondering how things would be resolved.

So many secrets - by the twins Devon is taking care of, the history of the house she purchased, the remnants in the yard, and a killer on the loose. As the story progresses, you are kept guessing as to where the storyline will go next. Thankfully Stefan is involved in helping to solve what is going on and Camden, Devon's next door neighbor, is a big help to her also. Many surprises along the way.
