The world is not overpopulated, it is underdeveloped, and yet, we have been increasingly assaulted by the left as to our reckless consumption and the damage it is doing to the planet, but moreover, by What the politicians and the government are going to do to save us from ourselves. There is a psychopathology to modern liberalism -- or progressivism, the current collectivist catchphrase -- generally upon which such tripe is based, and in this collection, Ziegler dismantles their arguments. Their effort continues unabated, but the impact of their schemes, ranging from the precautionary principle which examines the supposed impact of doing what they bemoan but ignores the consequences of not doing it, to the range of the mythologies of the religion of the left, global warming, sustainable development, heat death, racism and jim crow. This anthology indicts the left for the impact of its policies on humanity, while suggesting the free market alternative that undoes their contentious posturing to design their collectivist brave new world.
