Hello there! I am Leighton Grace and I'm so glad you are here! As a self-proclaimed introvert, reading is my passion...books are my passion and I want to share both with the world. Life is tough...books are magical. They allow us a bit of an escape from the frustrations of everyday life. Books have literally saved me in some very tough times - I want my books to do this for you! I want to put a smile on your face, or make you giggle or blush, even when life gets you down. ESPECIALLY when life gets you down!
When I am not reading or writing, I am busy with my teenage daughter or daydreaming my next business idea.
As an Indie author, your support means everything to me. Thank you so much for reading!
This was such a cute story. I loved every minute of the build up, the connection, the love, the growth, the betrayal and the second chance.
This story was everything a meet cute (but snarky) should be but with a slow burn that was worth the wait and a spice to knock your socks off.
I adore a love worth fighting for and I loved how they each played a part in fighting when the other was unsure.
Leah has lived in Jeneson her whole life and runs Kellers Diner. The diner has been in her family for decades and she took it over after her Grandmother passed. She has deep roots in the community and feels betrayed by everyone who leaves even though she knows that isn’t right. But her heart, her life, her family is there. She just doesn’t see leaving as a possibility.
Jett is drafted to the Wildcats in the town of Jeneson after the coach at his college basically wrote him off due to an ACL surgery. But the Wildcats are giving him one last shot at making it to the NFL. He is all in and committing to seeing this through. But this small town has more to offer than just a football opportunity and now the question becomes can he have football and the girl he is falling in love with?
If you love sports romances this was a good one. You got all the football plays and team stuff as well as the romance and the fight for love.

Leah works at her own bakery it belonged to her Grandma, she was talking with some clients about football player’s, the bell of the bakery chime and a man entered the shop, she didn’t watch who it was , He asked if it’s Keller’s Diner,he was Jett James a gorgeous man that he caught attention every where he walked. He said that he heard that they make the best breakfast in Town and wanted to meet the locals and get to know his new home. Leah tells him that they’re full he says that he can wait but she didn’t welcomed him, and tells him if you want to be welcomed you have to show us you’re here for more than just using our program as a stepping stone to the draft. He said good morning everyone looking forward to knowing you all especially you he tells her and then he went. Jett was transferred to playing for a Jeneson team he felt that he’s not welcome , one day after practice he met one of his teammates and went with him to watch a movie in his apartment. The guy tells him that there was a bet about him that Some of the guys are betting on whether you'll last the season Whether you'll bail when things get tough, and that’s not all that there’s another bet about the keller’s Diner girl ,Some of the guys are saying there's no way you can get that girl to go out with you. That Leah Keller doesn't date players, especially not transfers.
Tropes: * Small town (ish) * College sports * Football * Bet gone wrong * Second chance
What a story! Jett and Leah were absolutely amazing together. The way it was semi-enemies to love before a betrayal to the second chance. You hurt for both.. even though you knew…. absolutely knew that Jett’s decision was going to come back to bite him.
Leah gave up her dreams to run the diner when her grandma passed. She’s a local institution in her early 20’s and is highly influential… despite feelings of betrayal and abandonment from everyone who has left… Jett comes to town, an import player looking for his chance to reach the NFL. Their first meeting is explosive, and leads to a fateful decision that will change their lives.
This may be my favourite of the stories in this series. I liked both characters, and the emotional aspects from the decisions made, and the decisions to make.
It was a sweet ending, super adorable, and I loved that their little family was complete.

I almost stopped reading this book in the first chapter. The FMC Leah Keller was totally obnoxious and bitchy when she first encountered Jett James, the newly transferred football player. Her attitude was offensive. The love story is a roller coaster. Leah totally overreacts to Jett not disclosing a bet. Then she is very dramatic about the diner. Every event causes a meltdown. The chapter near the end about her pregnancy is all screwed up wirh months and timing.
I can officially say that Leighton’s book right here has become my newest favorite romance book of hers. Of course, ALL of her books exceed 5/5 stars, but Jett and Leah got my heart pounding in my ears. This romance book will have you staying up waaaay past your normal bedtime, but it is definitely worth losing sleep over.
Absolutely loved this stroy! It was a true emotional rollercoaster that tugged at my heart strings multiple times. This couple's HEA is hard fought for and well deserved! Leighton Grace did it again with another Championship Game Winning story!
This could be a really great story but the timing is weird through the whole book. Days/weeks/months are added then removed — it made reading it really hard and I felt like I had missed part of the story but I really didn’t ..
Jett is a new arrival in town, transferring to try and keep his football dreams alive. Leah sees him but also makes him work for it, for her. A steamy read full of angsty feels and choosing.

If your favorite tropes are football romance, small town, secrecy, enemies to lovers then add this to your list!
I loved reading this book! I enjoyed reading about Leah and Jett. It was nice to read about Leah who was so protective of her town, of her diner, but mostly of her heart. It was great to see how he chipped away at her wall, one brick at a time. Yes, there is a third act break up, but it made sense in my opinion. As I was reading each POV, I was agreeing with each of them, even if I was contradicting myself!
