Right Kinda Hood
Eastland Joseph better known as “East” to anyone outside of family, has the respect of the streets and the knowledge of a kingpin. His past life experiences have made him the man he is today. It was never glamorous but it was necessary. Forced to be the man of the house at a young age, East has always handled business and family before anything. Settling down with one woman, has never fit into the hierarchy of his needs.
Joi loves hard and at times too much. Her loyalty has kept her in a relationship with a man who does not value her as he should, but with no evidence of any wrong doing, Joi cannot bring herself to leave. Having something at the end of the day is better than nothing and Joi only has gut feelings.
Joi’s best friend, Nyelle is all about her son. After news of her long time boyfriend’s infidelities comes out in the worst way, she is no longer concerned with a relationship. Taking care of home and making sure her son is happy is her only focus.
In Vega’s mind it will always be loyalty over anything. That mind frame caused him to lose three years of his life. Now that he is home, Vega’s way of thinking has changed. No longer concerned with the fast life, Vega is ready to try something different
Each of these four have their own insecurities and doubts that they have to work through in order to see what’s in front of them. Each guarded for their own reasons, they must decide if the potential benefits of a new relationship outweigh the risks. Will they decide to take that leap or will the past stand in the way of what could be a beautiful future?

The way these men loved the women in this book… just set my soul on fire 🔥 ❤️🔥I am still going strong. Reading this author’s catalog. I’m at least 14 in according to her fantasticfiction.com page. 14 books in and not bored in the least wayyyy more books to go.

Whew awesome story
This was a very interesting story one I enjoyed alot. I wished there was more to it seems like the ending should have ended differently. I would have like to no what happened with them and the babies, and their careers. But the story was very good never the less. Miss Mills you never seems to amaze me with your writing skills. You no how to write to make a person feel as if they are right there in the story, that's what I love about your writing. Keep up the awesome work and I will continue to read your work as well as place myself right there. Lata

East and Joi; Noyelle and Vega.... Great couples! East is the leader in their relationship, but Joi can/will stand her ground! I couldn't believe that her aunt was married to the plug! Noyelle was the perfect baby momma to Reese, but he just was in his feels that she finally got with a real man and in turn has their son suffering. Well not really cause Daddy Vega got him no matter what! Great book!

Wow!
KC Mills is a world builder. As I read this book, it flowed like a movie. I could easily see each scene in my mind. I found myself smiling or laughing out loud multiple times even feeling genuine sadness. I felt Nyelle’s anger with Reese and loved her journey to open up to Vega. East is that DUDE! And I loved how his and Joi’s relationship developed. This book had everything! Drama, Action, SPICE! 10/10 Definitely recommend!

Wow!
I have been reading her books for a while now. I came across this book and decided to read it. So glad I did!! This book was fire!!! I enjoyed it from front to back! She did her thing with the story line and characters. My favorite was Easy and Vega!!!!! I recommend this book

Frstrated
The writing g WA top tier as always but You made me so frustrated. She was to insecure to be with a man like Eastland. Noelle WA a little bit better but they didn't handle Reese correctly. Both Vega and East had to.work hard to be with immature women. Loved the drama though.

Another Winner!
I really enjoyed how she gave the thoughts of everyone in the book and not just the main characters. This gave the book an extra depth. Please do more like this. Even though this was my second time reading the book, it was just like reading it for the first time. That indicative of a great writer!

Excellent
This was an excellent read!! I loved these characters. Now, I want to see more of Joi, East and the crew and the folks from Forever Tru. Not too many typos either. I loved how she took a look at trauma and mental health as well. Looking forward my next read.

East is Bae
This was a great read. I loved every bit of East and Joi together. I felt their connection with every word. Vega and Pretty Ny were awesome too. Both of the exes and all the jump offs got on my damn nerves. Overall great story. Job well done

You never disappoint!!!
Ugh I wished this was a 3 part but I loved it!!! You will always be one of my faves!!! I loved Joi and Nyelle's friendship. Vega and East had me clutching my pearls the entire time bc bayybeee they were the MEN hear me! Loved this!!!

Greattttttt!
Great book!!! East was everything! Vega was bomb. The characters tied this book up well. I really enjoyed reading this book. Nyelle was funny. Her baby daddy was a jerk. Joi was real about her feelings. Overall, really great book.

I loved this book! Vega & Ny’s story was beautiful played out as well as East & Joi’s story. It really goes to show you that when a man is ready for you...he’s willing to do the work for you.

This book had it all! Romance, drama, and action. I liked that the women the 2 main women in the story were independent and were doing their own thing. Tia should have taken a cue from them. I really loved East. Great read!

Joi and Nyelle found love with East and Vega, better than what their exes gave them. I'm glad Joi realized Ria wasn't a true friend but just an associate that she needed to handle with a long handed spoon.

Just Ok
I needed a little more romance and if I'm being honest Joi got on my nerves with her insecurities. I was also bothered that neither couple said I love you...I'm a huge fan of this author , but this book wasn't for me.
