When she runs out of money after abandoning yet another job, with nowhere else to go, Molly finds herself moving in with her stepbrother, Formula 1 driver, Archer Hayes. Best friends since they were teenagers, Molly and Archer living together doesn’t seem like a hardship for either of them. Until Molly complicates things by confessing to Archer that she’s still a virgin… and then asking him to be her first.
Archer knows exactly what he wants.
A Formula 1 championship and his stepsister, the person he’s been in love with since he was a teenager. Now, she’s living with him and asking him to rid her of her virginity. It seems like a great idea at first, but Archer was never going to be satisfied with one night. So he does the only thing he can thing he convinces Molly to go on the road with him under the guise of completing everything on her sex bucket list.
They’ve spent a decade trying not to give in to their feelings, but now, with a championship and their own battered hearts on the line, are they finally ready to risk it all?
They’re best friends, but people constantly doubt them—mostly because Molly is curvy and has very little dating experience, which doesn’t fit the image people expect for a superstar F1 driver’s partner. Meanwhile, Archer has been in love with her since they were chaotic teens running around London, and that history really grounds everything between them.
I don’t usually go for taboo romance, but this one really threaded the needle to create a relationship I was comfortable with but would still cause drama in the public eye. And while Archer is busy fighting for a championship on track, he’d absolutely take the title if it were awarded for dirty talking. If you're looking for lust AND tenderness, this takes pole position!
If you’re into F1, the racing elements are well done—quali, tire strategy, team dynamics, DNFs—they all play a role in shaping both the results and the character arcs. If you’re more romance-focused, there’s a solid balance there too. The story makes space for their life outside of racing AND their scandalous agreement to complete Molly's spicy bucket list.
I think you could read this without picking up book one, but the series is a spinoff of "Give Your Heart Away," which follows Archer’s teammate Lola. I’m glad I read hers first since she plays a meaningful role in Archer’s story here.
I loved Archer and Molly from the moment they met until they finally got their HEA. Molly was lost in life, and felt like she leaned on Archer too much, but he never saw her as a burden the way she assumed he did. That man loved her from the moment they met and would have done anything to make her happy...including letting her go. Their friendship spanning over 10 years led them to an unbreakable bond, and a love so strong it beat out all the negativity surrounding their relationship. I was so happy when Molly realized the only opinion that mattered in the end was her and Archer's. I was not a fan of Molly's mom, but adored Archer's dad supporting their relationship before they really had one. While they were step-siblings, Archer and Molly were end game long before her mom snatched Archer's dad up.
Young love turns into forbidden yearning when they become step-siblings 😱
Molly and Archer have the best chemistry from the get go but their fear of rejection??? Their fear of the taboo??? The fear of not being enough??? They have held them back for years. But when decisions are made and lines are crossed all bets were off.
This book was fantastic. It was humorous, it was naughty, it was a little unhinged and it was everything I was looking for in my next contemporary romance/rom com read! He drives fast… but I think they fall faster and it’s a whirlwind from there!
Tropes: Step-Sibling Romance Forbidden Love Formula 1 Driver Wild Child
I truly could not stop reading!!! Heart pounding, eyes blurry, smile wide kind of reading!!!
Thanks to the author for the opportunity to read their work, I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review!!
I feel like I've been waiting for this book to come out forever and it did not disappoint. This is an interconnected stand alone in this series. This is an open door romance and has a little spice. This book follows Archer and Molly, best friends turned step siblings. Archer is an F1 driver that has known what he wants since he was a kid and Molly is the exact opposite. Molly always seems to be chasing something but not knowing exactly what she's chasing. Molly ends up back home, staying in Archer's apartment, with no job, and no idea what's next. Molly has one thing she knows she wants and that's Archer, even though she knows it could never be her happily ever after. There's so many different emotions happening that it makes you feel them all. Can Archer and Molly get everythIng they want in the short time they have together?
Oh I have missed this woman. Her writing always makes me smile. And this one totally did. I could not put it down.
Molly and Archer were the perfect pair. And let me tell you, yes it’s a taboo story but what I absolutely love is that these two had something going on before becoming step siblings. But even after that, their feelings didn't die. Nope. They festered, morphed, grew, as they got older. But of course, both were too scared to want to do anything about it and risk their friendship. Well until one night when Molly wanted to get rid of her v-card. That changed the game for the better, at least in my opinion.
So, yes a taboo read (those can be so much fun!) Its full of emotions, flare, drama, and lots of racing. And putting it down could be just as hard for you as it was for me.
I received this book as an arc In exchange for an honest review. When I signed up for this arc I obviously read the blurb but I definitely forgot the blurb going into this book which makes it so much better cause I really do like going into books Blind. This book was so much fun. I don’t know if I’ve read an F1 book before but if I have this one was definitely my favourite. I love archer and Molly together so much. I don’t think I liked Molly‘s mum, especially with how she treated Molly a lot throughout this book. But I do like that archer was there to back Molly up. I definitely will be looking into more F1 romances because I’m now curious.
3 Statement Book Review: • a taboo trope turned into one of the strongest romances • lovable main characters that you just want to hug and tell they deserve more even though they have to discover that for themselves • strong spice that works with the plot without replacing plot
I just thought I loved Dangerous Strategy, but this one tops book one. They are true interconnected standalones, and Reckless Limits can definitely be read without having read book one although I highly recommend also reading it.
Thanks to the author for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
This was a quick fun read if you like Formula 1 racing and a Golden Retriever type MMC. And Archer Hayes is definitely that. But this man is Spicy and Hot with just enough touch her and I'm gonna beat your a$$ to make him even more likeable. And Molly is quirky and bright and perfectly fits Archer. She may seem like a wanderer but one thing she does know is Archer will always come first for her. It was a quick enjoyable read with enough spice and racing to keep you interested.
I love racing and this book was a good one. I don't watch formula 1 racing but I enjoyed this book. I don't think I care for Molly's mom but the story between her and archer was so good and I loved them together. the way he was there with Molly when it came to her mom. I need more F1 racing books in my life. I loved the first book and this one was the icing on the cake and another good read for me.
Started off slow but quickly gained speed (see what I did there XD)
This book was more about learning to love yourself while learning about yourself and who you really are inside and what you really want. I loved it. Molly was a very fulfilling character. Had me teary eyed towards the end.
Another fantastic read from this author. This troupe is usually something we read for the thrill of the forbidden but this was so sweet and angsty. I have never rooted for a couple more than Archer and Molly. Their story is my favorite from this author so far. It felt so natural and right for them to be together. Loved!
This was a cute story. Archer and Molly were so cute together. I enjoyed their journey, though I didn’t really feel emotionally invested in their story.
