COMING FEBRUARY 26: A brand new standalone forbidden stepsiblings romance!

I was only four years old when I experienced the worst day of my life.

When I watched my father take his last breath at the hands of someone else.

Instead of letting the hate consume me, I found a safe haven in the arms of the only person who understood, our shared trauma bonding us in a way that taught my heart that I was incapable of ever loving anyone else.

And over the years, our codependency transformed into something deeper.
Something forbidden.
Something no one would accept.

Because how could I explain that the man that I've been in love with for almost twenty years was once the six year old standing next to me on the worst day of my life: my stepbrother.

📌 Triggers: Death of a Parent (on-page) Violence (on-page)

📌 No OWD/OMD besides mild jealousy

📌 No Cheating/Sharing

📌 Eachothers first and only

📌 No Third-act Breakup

📌 Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick taboo romance! There's not a lot going on plot wise, which allows for all the focus to be put on the MCs. Which was cool because we got flashbacks to them as teenagers falling in love. All in all, this was a fun read and it helped me get out of my reading slump!

Wilder Saint
By Q.B. Tyler

“I want you, Saint. I’ve always wanted this and us. I’ve been in love with you since we were kids.”

“Keep me wild,” he murmurs. “I’ve always wanted to keep you, you are mine, Saint.”

“Nothing could ever make me give you up. It’s been you and me for twenty years now. I need another twenty and then another and another until we take our last breaths, Halle.”

I bow down to the Taboo Queen! A new Daddy has entered the villa! Daddy Sebastian, god is he yummy!! Hallie and Sebastian are so incredibly hot! We follow their story as they try to navigate their relationship in adulthood while also getting flashbacks to how their relationship continued to grow and evolve from kids to teen to adults.
Reading Wilder Saint I felt like I did when I read Unconditional, Love Unexpected or What Was Meant To Be. It’s a classic Q.B. Tyler book and I absolutely loved it!! And the audiobook?! Obsessed!
Thank you so much to Q.B. Tyler and @thesmuthood for the chance to ARC/ALC!

Received as an ARC, thank you Smuthood!

The queen of taboo/forbidden does it again! 😮‍💨 this is probably one of my favorite step sibling romances I’ve read.

Halle and Sebastian’s parents get married when they are 4 & 5 years old making them step siblings. After a tragedy happens where Halle’s dad dies, Seb’s mom decides to still raise Halle. They were always extremely close but after witnessing Halle’s dad die, they trauma bonded and became very codependent on each other. As they got older, feelings started to develop that then turned into them sneaking around having a physical relationship. When Sebastian’s mom found out she was notttt happy and did everything to get them to stop but they are truly obsessed with each other and nothing was going to stop them. This does time hop and in the present they are only seeing each other once a year on the anniversary of her dads death where they basically spend 2 days together in bed but Halle wants more and so does Seb but they know people aren’t going to accept their relationship. Buttt they decide to go for it and they have to fight hard for their relationship and for other people to understand it. When I tell you their love was next level like I had heart emojis in my eyes the entire book….i can’t…I just love them!!! As usual with QB, the spice was spicinnnnn!!!
Lovedddd this one and it’s a top QB book for me now!

Wilder Saint is about Sebastian and Halle. When they were really young, their parents married, and they were very young when Sebastian and Halle witnessed Halle’s dad’s murder. That trauma bond tied them together, and they became each other’s safe place. As Sebastian and Halle grew up their bond deepened and morphed into a romantic relationship. Sebastian’s mom and most people who knew did not approve of their relationship. However, for Sebastian and Halle, there was never going to be anyone for them except for each other.

The story was told in past/present, which was needed to show how much Sebastian and Halle loved each other from early on. There was a lot of angst and they had to fight for their relationship. They changed throughout the progression of the story, and their story was sympathetic. I liked Sebastian and Halle, because they were strong and knew what they wanted. How young they were when their trauma bond happened was a choice, but this is QB Tyler -- the queen of taboo! The audiobook was well produced. Connor Crais and Nikko Austen Smith narration was fantastic!

Thank you to Must Love Audio for an ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wilder Saint by QB Tyler eARC & ALC Review

This was a ridiculously spicy good time. QB Tyler is the queen of taboo and spice and this book is no exception to that.

The audio blew me away. Connor Crais and Nikki Austen Smith are absolutely incredible in this one.

Step siblings who are trauma bonded after a tragic incident when they are young. Wild and Saint need each other…physically, mentally, they are co dependent and completely and utterly infatuated with one another.

The forbidden aspect of this one makes it absolutely delicious. The spice is unmatched and holy moly I was fanning myself during multiple scenes in this audio 🥵😮‍💨

Their story is real, raw and everything you could want in a QB Tyler book. 👏🏻

What to expect:
Forbidden
Taboo

Thank you so much QB Tyler and the Smuthood for the arc and alc!

*ARC Review* 3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

This was a quick and easy listen. I finished the audiobook in under 24 hours, so it definitely had me hooked. Connor Crais nailed Wilde, his voice was chef’s kiss💋

The plot was pretty easy to follow. I liked how the story bounced between past and present — it made it easier to understand how their relationship developed and why it was the way it was.

This is a spicy book🌶️🌶️ Wilder very much loves to please his woman and I am not complaining👀😏

If taboo/forbidden romance and trauma bonding aren’t your thing, this might not be for you! Overall a solid 3.5 stars for me!

I absolutely devoured this book. This one was a little different than others from QB Tyler because it had a lot more past tense as well as more of the romance build. These two characters went through a serious trauma together and yes that can cause a bond but I think they loved each other before they knew what love was. Every aspect of their past and each step in their lives they were each others person. There is a taboo aspect because they are step siblings but overall this was wholesome and sweet. I loved everything about the love they shared for each other.

The queen of spicy taboo has done it again...

Hallie and Sebastian are step-siblings who after an awful tragedy have become trauma-bonded.

Over the years they have been each other's firsts, lasts and safe spaces even trying to put distance between them they always end up back together. Wild and saint are endgame.

Deciding to just come out and let the world in on their love story (which was beautiful) we really got to see the protectiveness and how their love developed.

Ohhh hell yes for the spice...

Steamy taboo romance? Sign. Me. Up.
This book was exactly what I thought it would be like. I’m always excited when QB writes a new romance for all of us to squeal about. This was steamy(extremely so) with some swoon. I wasn’t fully engaged with this book as I have been with other books I’ve read by this author, however I know people will enjoy this. It’s quick, easy, and steamy af. I do wish that the epilogue was just a bit more longer.

When Halle (Saint) and Sebastian (Wild) were children, they survived an unfathomable tragedy when Halle’s father was múrdered in a convenience store róbbery in front of them. With Halle’s mother already gone, Sebastian’s mom continued raising her alongside her son. Their shared trauma made them inseparable and codependent. As teenagers, that closeness turned into something more. Sebastian’s mom tried to keep them apart, but it’s hard when they lived under the same roof (and teens will always find a way lol). They knew how their relationship would be seen. They tried to move on. They moved to different cities. But no matter what, they always came back to each other. After years of being off and on, neither of them has been able to let go. Can they overcome the stigma surrounding their beginning and finally choose to live and love openly?

Q.B. did it again. Another emotional, intense, deeply angsty story from the Queen of Taboo. Halle and Sebastian are great individually, but together there is this raw, complicated, intense bond. Yes, it is rooted in trauma. Yes, there is co-dependency. But it is also very clearly love. Even when they had opportunities to move on, neither of them truly could. They were each other’s first and only. The idea of being with someone else felt impossible and nobody came close to making them feel what they felt for each other. That is soulmate energy. I also appreciated that they have done therapy. They understand the language of trauma and attachment. They can articulate what their relationship looks like from the outside. But they also know it runs deeper than labels.

My biggest struggle with the book (and this is purely personal preference) was the structure. I am not a huge fan of prologues that take place after the couple is already together unless it is clearly setting up a second chance storyline. There are also a lot of flashbacks. I tend to prefer chronological storytelling as the timeline shifts pull me out of the story and leave me confused.

I also had a hard time with Sebastian’s mom. I understand how difficult it must have been to watch two teenagers who she raised as siblings grow closer than she was comfortable with. However , instead of seeking help from a therapist or approaching it with thought, she pushed them apart in a way that created long term resentment. Even when they are grown adults she still calls their feelings gross. What also stood out to me (not sure if anyone else will catch this and have issues too) was that she scheduled her engagement party on the weekend of the 20th anniversary of her husband’s death and showed very little understanding of why that might be emotionally difficult for Halle (although this connection is never discussed). There are 50 other weekends this could have been planned for and this just really annoyed me.

Now let’s talk spice. The spice definitely delivers. We get scenes across different stages of their relationship, including flashbacks. Even though they are each other’s firsts, they are open to exploring and learning what the other likes in a way you don’t always see with first loves (ex. pegg!ng). This reinforces the trust they have for each other and the love.

Overall, this is a strong forbidden romance filled with longing, angst (so much angst!), emotional intensity, and lots of spice. I wish the book had been longer, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Saint and Wild! I also wish for a more extended epilogue. The final epilogue takes place the day after the previous chapter that had already jumped a year ahead, which made it feel slightly abrupt.

Thank you to The Smuthood and Q.B. Tyler for the opportunity to ARC read and review this book.

4.75 rounded up!

I trust Q.B. with any taboo romance always.

And my trust is well placed because this was the angsty, spicy and emotional story I needed. She gave us longing, years of love and distance, fighting for the right to be together and some of the filthiest spice. I truly couldn’t have asked for more.

Both Sebastian (Wild) and Halle (Saint) were obsessed with each other to the point of it being codependency…but it wasn’t toxic. It was written in a way were you could see and understand that that trauma bond wasn’t the root of their relationship, the foundation was built in trust and companionship and understanding. Sure, that awful experience made it easier for them to have that shared bond but the love? The chemistry? The attraction? That grew on its own.

They were soulmates. Distance and opinions couldn’t keep them apart. I was a little mad at the back and forth between them “fighting or not fighting for a future” moments. But I understood that it’s such a difficult situation and until they truly realized that they couldn’t spend their lives in secret, that they needed to be together for the rest of time, it was them against the world not the other way around. They were a team, on the same wavelength and it only made their connection better.

And the spice? Yeeeessh it’s hot in here! I personally don’t enjoy pegging, but even with it I wasn’t mad about it. It was filthy, plentiful and made the whole story better, it didn’t feel like filler, more like necessary development that made the reader understand Saint and Wilder and their relationship better.

I just have to say, I love your mind Q. B., I need the cheerleader book next (iykyk) and I will be on my knees for every new release of yours!

Thank you, Smuthood and Q.B., for this arc. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to read this early….to LOVE this early lol.

Quotes:

"So fucking nasty for letting your stepbrother eat your cunt."

You're doing so good, baby. No one on this plane knows how wet you are or that your stepbrother's fingers are buried deep in your pussy right now.

"Yes, fucking here. Fucking everywhere, as a matter of fact. There's nowhere in the world I won't want to fucking touch you. So now, I'm going to bury my tongue between your legs because it will make us both fucking feel better."

"Nothing could ever make me give you up. It's been you and me for twenty years now. I need another twenty and then another and another until we take our last breaths, Halle."

ALL HAIL THE QUEEN OF TABOO!!! I can always count on QB Tyler to give me the goods with her stories, but this one is step-siblings....& goooooood LAWD did she deliver with it!!!! It was deliciously taboo, deliciously sexy, deliciously nassssty, AND I ATE UP EVERY SECOND OF IT!

First, the audio: Dual narration, and Connor Crais & Nikko Austen Smith are SO GOOD as Wilder and Saint (Sebastian & Halle). They portrayed those complicated emotions, desire, & heat between the two characters so well, & truly brought them to life. I loved getting to listen along with the book, it truly made the experience all the better!

Story: I love a taboo story, and taboo with step siblings may be my catnip! Wilder & Saint were absolutely delish! They go through an insanely traumatizing event at very young ages (4 & 5, also check the trigger warning!), which bonds them closer than they already were. Fast forward to teenage yeats, and some not so sibling-like feelings begin to bloom, starting a VERY frowned upon relationship. They face adversity from the start from Wilder's mother (understandably), who does everything she can think of to split them apart, but the two won't be stopped. Call it obsession, lust, depravity, whatever you want, but they were truly in love.

Fast forward again, they are grown adults who continue the relationship once a year, even though both want more. They decide to go for it, & well, you'll have to read to see that plays out for them. ;)

I love the flash backs in this, you really get to experience how their relationship grew from that trauma, into so much more. The adversity, their determination, their dedication to the otherr...I also love how obsessed they are with the other! The tattoos? Their chemistry & SPICE?! The "burn the world" for her? FIRST & ONLY for them both?! SWOON!!!

I loved everything about it, and 100% think you should add to your TBR (along with the audio!).

**Thank you SO MUCH to The Smuthood for the ALC & ARC opportunity**

O my goodness, talk about a truly angsty, taboo step-sibling romance that will take you on an emotional ride feeling everything so deep! Taboo written so well as Q.B. Tyler does, Wilder Saint is her brand new book.

Halle and Sebastian became step-siblings when they’re just four and five years old after his mom and her dad married. Not long after, tragedy strikes when Halle’s father dies in a traumatic and horrible way in front of them. Despite the loss, Sebastian’s mother chooses to continue raising Halle as her own. These two had always been inseparable, but witnessing her father’s death creates a deep trauma bond between them. As they grow up, that bond turns into something intense and complicated. Their closeness evolves into feelings they can’t ignore, and eventually they begin a secret physical relationship. When Sebastian’s mother discovers the truth, she’s furious and does everything in her power to separate them but their connection runs too deep. The story moves between past and present. In the present timeline, they only allow themselves to meet once a year on the anniversary of Halle’s father’s death spending two stolen days together before returning to their separate lives. But both of them crave more. They know their relationship won’t be easily accepted, yet they finally decide to stop hiding and fight for what they want. They’re completely consumed by each other. I am telling you, this connection between them, soul freaking deep. The passion, pure hot fire.

Their love is intense, unwavering, and all-consuming. It’s raw. It’s deeply emotional. It’s messy in the most vulnerable and honest way. And there’s something so powerful about watching them fight for each other, for their love, and for the happiness they truly deserve. Go read this book!

Right off the back Sebastian and Halle aka Saint and Wild are toxic and I like it. They fight and f**k and then repeat every year. Their bond developed after a tragedy and gradually turned into more. With them being step siblings they have to hide their relationship. We’re barely into the book and I have tears in my eyes. Halle is a brat and has Sebastian wrapped around her finger. Sebastian is completely obsessed with her and will do anything for her. These two just can’t seem to get themselves fully together. The outside world’s opinions and his mom play a huge role in this. The outside world is messy, family is messy. These two are trying to live their best lives and live in their truth but people won’t let them be great. I will at the relationship is a bit toxic and codependent. It’s truly them against the world. There was a bunch of back forth between the two of them at time it’s seemed like they were self sabotaging. Saint is a confident girl and I love that about her, she will let anyone know she don’t play about Wild. Wild is a bit reckless when it comes to Saint and sometimes it’s not a good thing for him. These two they nasty 🤭. They be getting down in the bedroom and I loved every freaky detail of it. There were some daddies, there may have been a str*p-*n. QB knows how to write the spice. Let me tell y’all when sh*t hit the fan sh*t hit the fan. And at the end of the day these two stayed ten toes down for each other. I will say at first Saint was a brat( she still has some of it on her) but as we read her and Wild getting things together she matured. They both matured. I think that some of that came from the nature of their relationship( not the step siblings aspect) but something else that you will see when you read it.

This was a complicated ,unconventional,at times toxic, but o so beautiful love story. It’s exactly what I expect and love about a QB book. I loved it!

“I don’t know how I’ll ever be happy with someone who isn’t you.”

I’m not joking when I say I finished this book in a few hours!! I absolutely loved the way this book was written. I was captivated by their journey and the obstacles they faced for being in love with each other. Halle and Sebastian were written so well. You could feel the tension and love that they had for each other and I liked their conversations and how funny they both were. They were both possessive of each other while they both knew that they only had eyes for each other. Halle was a confident female character and I lovedddd that! She knew what she wanted and didn’t take shit from anyone. Sebastian also knew what he wanted but he was also battling his inner worries.

Not only was their love forbidden, but the taboo aspect had also affected their relationship with their family and with themselves. This book does touch upon the topic of grief, specifically the grieving of a parent. There is an on page death, so make sure to read the trigger warnings ‼️⚠️

Guyss the smut scenes….. oh my god! Insaneeee! My jaw was on the floor scene after scene. There were quite a lot of smut scenes but I never felt like it was a repeat of the last scene. It was always something new and hot 🥵 I was honestly shocked by some scenes 🤭 I can’t wait to read more from this author!!

My only complaint is that I wish this book was longer!!😭 I do wish we could have gotten more scenes of them after everything came out. The ending felt a bit rushed but nevertheless I lovedddd it. I’m so glad I was able to read this ARC!!

Thank you to The Smuthood & the author for allowing me to review this book 🫶🏼🩶

I will always show up for a Q.B. Tyler book, she writes forbidden/taboo romance so well. There’s always more going on beneath the surface than just the taboo element or the spice, and this one is no exception.

This is a step-sibling romance following Sebastian Wilder (Wild) and Halle St. John (Saint). After witnessing the violent death of Halle’s father and Sebastian’s stepfather, they grow up together under the weight of shared trauma. Over time, their bond shifts from sibling closeness to romantic love. The big question throughout the book is whether that love can survive. Will their family and friends accept them, and can something built in trauma last?

I know this story may be a tough sell for some readers because of the trauma bonding and codependency, and I’ll admit I struggled with that aspect at times too.
That said, I still found myself invested in their relationship. They are deeply obsessed with each other, and their comfort simply existing in the same space made it hard not to root for them. From the very beginning, they build a foundation of safety and trust, which carries them into adulthood and gives their relationship an emotional depth that worked for me overall.

That said, I would have loved to see a bit more personality from both characters and to get a break from the heavy, often repeated conversations about whether or not they should be together. Some lighter moments or more individuality outside of their shared trauma would have helped balance the story and made their connection feel even more well-rounded.

If trauma bonding or codependency is a hard no for you, I’d probably skip this one. But if you can meet the story where it is and read it for what it’s trying to explore, it’s a compelling, layered taboo romance that Q.B. Tyler fans will likely appreciate.

Whew, what a wild ride. Make sure you read your TW with this one as there is a death of a parent and Q.B. takes us through the whole death in detail, so if this is a trigger for you, it may not be your cup of tea because it is referenced often. Okay, heavy aside. This is your epitome story of your first love that stays with you and you will never want anyone but them. Halle and Sebastian are stepsiblings and after her father traumatically dies, her and Sebastian trauma bond over the death of her father and Sebastian becomes that safe place for her. What starts out as just protection and comfort, evolves into love the older they both get. Years pass and the love these two share for each other just continues to grow and get stronger. Sebastian is hesitant to go public with their relationship because he worries that the public will be unkind to them due to the circumstance of them once being stepsiblings and Halle being raised by Sebastian's mom, Sara. Sara highly disapproves of their relationship and reminds them constantly. Over the years, Halle has distanced herself from Sara over cruel comments that were made in regards to her and Sebastian's relationship. This whole book takes us through these two trying to navigate becoming a normal couple after years of hearing everyone tell them they couldn't and having to hide their relationship. The spice in this book! Holy hell, was it phenomenal. Which, if you have read QB before, you know she's gonna deliver some damn good spice, every time. These two are constantly all over each other, and in each other, and I was here for it. Buckle up, for this one!

Thank you to the smuthood for my ARC/ALC! This is my honest opinion!

Sebastian (Wilder) & Halle (Saint).

If there’s one thing QB Tyler does flawlessly, it’s taboo romance—and she never misses.

Yes, this is a stepsiblings romance.
No, it’s not written like most of them.

Sebastian and Halle aren’t built on shock value—they’re built on shared trauma, deep emotional wounds, and a bond that formed long before either of them understood what it meant. And I’m not talking about light childhood angst. This is heavy, serious subject matter, so please read the trigger warnings.

What makes this story stand out?
Dual timelines.

You don’t just get told they’re in love—you watch it happen. You see the early connection, the secrecy, the stolen moments. You feel the weight of them trying to push each other away while knowing no one else will ever compare. The vulnerability when they confess jealousy. The quiet admissions when someone else crosses a line. And the possessiveness? It goes both ways—and it’s intense in the best way.

It’s raw. It’s emotional. It’s messy.
And it’s beautiful watching them fight for what they believe they deserve.

QB Tyler absolutely nails it every single time.

Audiobook Thoughts

This is a dual-formatted audiobook, and the casting? Unreal.
Connor brings that intensity we love, and Nikko(new to me!) was pure perfection. Lately, the casting in these romances has been next-level, and this one is no exception.

Do yourself a favor—read it when it releases.
Or better yet? Listen to it.

Thank-you Smuthood and QB Tyler, the ARC & ALC were absolutely incredible, and I am honoured to have been allowed to consume Wilder Saint before it releases into the wild (see what I did there😉)

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, QB is the absolute taboo queen, and she didn’t miss with Wild & Saint!

Wilder Saint is a step-sibling romance, but written in a way I had never read before.
(Check your triggers for this one)

The dual timelines, past & present, gave the full picture into Halle and Sebastian’s lives and love (and connecting them both with certain scenes from the past in the present *ahem*) was something I didn’t realize I needed in a book. There were a few times where I thought I knew where the story was going, but it went in a different direction which I loved as it showed the story wasn’t predictable.

Wilder is possessive and aggressive, my jaw was on the floor when *someone* hit the floor (iykyk). Truly, the only wish I have is that the story was longer (I was sad the moment it was over) and, that we had gotten a couple more chapters on the actual ‘coming forward’, only because I feel like we missed out on Sebastian letting loose on his Mom; however, the redemption we see with her was cute.

Audiobook: Absolute shout out to Queen QB for getting Connor Crais to say the things he did and groan in as many different ways as he didhe could read my grocery list and it would be incredible

ALC Review
This story totally pulled me in, it’s a mix of raw emotion, tension, and that swoony slow-burn that keeps you hooked from start to finish. This follows Sebastian (Wild) and Halle (Saint), stepsiblings that have such a strong connection. They both share a trauma which shapes them but also brings them closer together. As they get older there connection grows more than just friendship, they’re soulmates, plain and simple. It’s messy and complicated but once they realised they couldn’t keep living in secret their bond only deepened. And the spice? Whew. 🔥 Filthy, abundant, and never there just for shock value. It actually added depth to their relationship and gave more insight into Wild and Saint as individuals and as a couple. What I loved most was how the characters grow and grapple with their feelings in such honest ways, it’s emotional and tender, a perfect read for forbidden romance lovers. The audiobook is dual narrated by the incredibly talented Nikko Austen Smith and Connor Crais, and they absolutely shine. Nikko captures Saint perfectly—strong despite everything she’s endured, confident in what she wants, and willing to fight for her relationship with Wild. Connor nails Wild’s character, from his protective and possessive nature to his hesitation and fear about no longer living in secret. Together, they bring so much warmth, emotion, and depth to the story. Highly recommend this audiobook if you want something that’ll make you laugh, swoon, and maybe even mist up. Thank you to Q.B & the Smuthood for this ALC opportunity

Angst, Obsession & Incredible Narration
Taboo step-sibling romance will always be a yes for me, and this one had the angst and intensity I wanted.

I really liked the way the story moved between past and present. The flashbacks were placed in a way that actually added to their dynamic instead of just being there for drama. Seeing pieces of their history made the present day tension make sense. You could feel that this wasn’t something random or impulsive. There was a foundation there, and that made everything feel more layered.

Sebastian and Halle are not casual about each other. The attachment between them is strong and very much all consuming. I love when a romance leans into that kind of devotion and does not try to soften it. They choose each other again and again, even when it would be easier not to.

The Audiobook narration really brought their dynamic to life. Nikko Austen Smith and Connor Crais were so good together. The shifts in tone during different time periods felt natural and you could hear the difference in age and maturity without it sounding forced. The emotion in their voices added another level to the story that I would not have gotten from reading alone.

The spice was plentiful and very well done. There was a lot of it, but it never felt repetitive. Each scene matched where they were emotionally and moved their relationship forward. I finished this in a day because I did not want to put it down.

If you love forbidden romance, angst, obsessive devotion, and strong dual narration, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Wilder Saint by QB Tyler

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Wilder Saint by Q.B. Tyler is the type of romance that captivates you immediately — leaving you blushing, giddy, and vowing to yourself “just one more chapter” until you glance outside and notice the sun is rising. If a forbidden love that actually follows through is your kind of trope then this you will absolutely love the story of Halle and Sebastian

I was hooked the instant the story starts. It jumps straight in giving you all the feels that you want. This story goes far beyond a simple love story; it’s a deeply emotional exploration of grief, regret, and years of buried feelings finally rising to the surface. The way their shared history is layered into the present makes every look linger longer, every touch burn hotter, and every quiet moment feel monumental. You don’t just read their connection — you experience it.

The chemistry and connection between Halle and Sebastian is electric. It practically radiates off the pages. The tension builds through lingering glances, heavy silences, and that exquisite push-and-pull that makes your stomach tumble. Even with its taboo twist — a step-sibling romance tangled in fate — it unfolds in a way that feels raw, romantic, and utterly satisfying.

Tropes you can expect:

💕 Taboo Romance
💕 Step-sibling Romance
💕 It’s always been you
💕 Trauma bonding

The is the kind of story that has not only the high spice but also a true romance to go alongside it. If you’re craving romance with depth, heat, and a storyline that stays with you, Wilder Saint absolutely delivers.

“Nothing could ever make me give you up. It’s been you and me for twenty years now. I need another twenty and then another and another until we take our last breaths, Halle.”

Goodness, there is nothing like a new forbidden romance from Q.B. Tyler! She is the very best at making you root for couples you know shouldn’t be together. She establishes that these two people are meant to be no matter the circumstances of their relationship. Sebastian and Halle are no exception.

One thing I love more than anything is a man that is absolutely gone for his woman. A down bad man is always my favorite kind of MMC. The possessiveness and obsession that Wild has for Halle is so beautiful. And she has it right back! Their chemistry and bond was unmatched, and I loved their story.

The spice is once again off the charts. They are open to any and everything, and it just got hotter and hotter! And in true QB fashion, she combined the spice with the sweetest love declarations. I love how she does that.

I listened to this on audio and the narrators were incredible. Connor Crais is one of my top male narrators, and he and Smith did a great job bringing this book to life. I finished within 24 hours only because I had to sleep and adult! This is out February 26th and I definitely recommend it.

Thanks to author Q.B. Tyler and SmutHood Promo for the arc and alc.

Thank you so much to Q.B. Tyler and @thesmuthood for the chance to ARC!

“Nothing could ever make me give you up. It’s been you and me for twenty years now. I need another twenty and then another and another until we take our last breaths, Halle.”

Wilder Saint revolves around the lives of Sebastian and Halle. When they were quite young, their parents tied the knot, and it was at a tender age that Sebastian and Halle witnessed the tragic murder of Halle’s father. This shared trauma forged a bond between them, making them each other’s sanctuary. As they matured, their connection deepened, evolving into a romantic relationship. However, Sebastian’s mother and many others disapproved of their love. Yet, for Sebastian and Halle, there was never anyone else they could envision being with but each other.

Their journey was filled with angst, and they had to battle for their relationship. Throughout the story, they underwent significant changes, making their tale one that evokes sympathy. I found Sebastian and Halle to be admirable characters, as they were resilient and clear about their desires. The age at which their trauma bond formed was a deliberate choice, but this is QB Tyler—the queen of taboo!
