1. MIXED UP WITH A MARINE - 4 STARS
At the end of the story the author states, there are questions left unanswered as yet. Fear not! That was on purpose. The story continues through the rest of the series.
If you like everything wrapped up in your stories, be warned. There isn't a cliffhanger, but some parts aren't solved. I feel this should have been mentioned in the blurb by the author/publisher.
I did feel a connection to this couple, and I didn't read the prequel. Story is set 10 years after they last see each other. Talk about misunderstandings, but you understand why the h couldn't be honest with the H.
I enjoyed all the suspense, twists and intrigue in the story. Lovemaking maybe 3 out of 5, and within marriage per my standards.
I agree with some reviewers that the h's best friend was unnecessary. No cheating, HEA, some romance and steam. Crude words and the Lord's name used in vain. Interesting main and secondary characters and I found the storyline unique.
If you want to see more of their future, you need to download the extended short epilogue, which I did find interesting. (ljb)
2. SOMEONE LIKE YOU -5 STARS
Talk about two different people, who helped each other without knowing it. I absolutely loved this story and MC.
Our H has been out of the military for about 3 years because he felt he was the reason 3 of his men were killed. The h is a famous writer and has writer's block. They met when the H rescue's her in a dramatic fashion. As they spend time together because of a blizzard, they realize they are good together, but neither voice it.
Lovemaking outside of marriage and bedroom door wide opened. I felt a connection to this couple and liked how they shared their stories. Lord's name and crude words used.
Talk of suicide of a secondary character, no cheating, no cliffhanger, standalone, HEA, romantic and only one misunderstanding. (ljb)
3. MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE -4 STARS
Unique storyline and one part in particular had me laughing. The h in this story has secretly written some romance novels under a pen name, Harper Jackson. Why is that funny? Because the actual author of this story Kait Nolan, has a pen name of Harper Jackson. She also writes as Kait Flynn.
Yes, you may figure out who the villain is, but you will be unsure if he is working alone or with someone. There are suspenseful moments. violence, and physical abuse that is told after the fact years later. The H's excuse not to have a serious relationship with the h was lame for me. He couldn't protect her as her husband? I didn't like how he had a gf for 2 years and lead her on.
Lovemaking outside of marriage, bedroom door mostly opened. Lord's name and crude words used in vain. Several set ups for more stories in the series. This ended about 91% on my e-reader, rest teasers for other stories.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, some romance, mostly friends throughout the story until the last few chapters. I would read more of the series.
I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. (ljb)

Mixed Up with a Marine
This is the first book in the Bad Boy Bakers series and takes place about ten years after the prequel in this series Rescued by a Bad Boy. Oh my gosh I just loved getting to see the continuation of Brax and Mia’s story. I was just drawn into their lives and I felt so much for these characters. This story was just extremely easy to lose yourself in and I was just so sad to turn the last page. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

This novella is an Eden’s Ridge/Misfit Inn crossover. In this book you get to see some of the familiar characters from the Misfit Inn series but the main story is about some outside characters that you will meet. In this novella you meet Ivy Blake and Harrison Wilkes and I just fell in love with these characters. This was such an easy read and after turning the last page I immediately wanted more of these characters. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

This book was previously titled If I Didn’t Care and has since been updated and expanded. I absolutely loved this book. This book is the first book in the Wishing For A Hero series and is a spinoff of the Wishful novels so you get to see some of the characters that you originally fell in love with in Wishful. I absolutely loved this book and I finished it in a day. I just couldn’t put it down until the last page and I immediately wanted more. Judd and Autumn you first meet in Know Me Well which if you haven’t read you need to read that one as well as this one. This book expands on what you see in the first book you see them in and if just makes you fall in love with. I loved seeing how strong their bond is to go through what they have gone through and still be so close and even with all they went through they still had a happy ending. I can’t wait to read more of this series absolutely loved it.

This was the greatest story I read. Great everything! Oh my goodness, it took my breath away. Wonderfully written. I could just see the handsome Judd. Ummm!!!! Oh yes!
