Ellie the Morwitch, and Jayce, her Dragon familiar, are hunted by their own kind for breaking the first law of the Magical realms. Their bond is forbidden and punishable by death.
So why has the bond been outlawed?
What don't they know about the devastating repercussions of their union?
Follow Ellie and Jayce's continuing story as they search for answers to puzzles kept hidden for centuries. Prophecies and legends can be wrong...can't they?
So many people, at some stage in their lives, decide they should/could/will write a book. Great idea…why not? How hard can it be, right? WRONG! Hmmm...I remember thinking all those things too. Although I did have one advantage a lot of other writers don’t have when they first start writing…my husband agreed that I should stop working fulltime and just concentrate on writing for a while. At 53 I figured better late than never, I dived in boots and all. Knowing how lucky I was to be in that position, I dived headlong into learning everything I could about writing fiction. Hundreds of hours later, after downloading and reading everything I could find on the internet (and hardly scratching the surface of the information available) I realized that writing a book was one of those things you needed to just start doing and learn as you go. Anyway, I could go on forever about the highs and lows I experienced during the actual writing process. Needless to say, I got there…all the blood sweat and tears finally behind me as I blithely typed “The End”. WRONG AGAIN!
This book carries on from where Morwitch 1 left me on a cliffhanger and continues with the action packed suspense, tension, drama, mystery, love and fantasy that both books are packed with. Book 2 is as good as if not better than book 1 which, for me, is always a massive feat in books as alot of the time series tend to dwindle as they continue. More betrayals, more characters and a perfect ending. Well done Jennifer Redmile on yet another success. Highly recommend to anyone who has read book 1 Morwitch first. Not suitable as a stand alone in my opinion. FREE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED
This was a great finish to the story of Jasper and Ellie, the Dragon and the Witch. The forces of evil are determined to keep the young couple apart. Many surprises awaited this unlikely pair as they travel to places they didn't even know existed to save the world. A last minute bomb threat gives them no time to rest as the evil threatening their world closes in on them. Can they prove that a dragon and witch can be a combination for good? Loved the sequel and was so glad to find out what happened to this fun couple, Jasper and Ellie.
Picked up from where book 1 left off. Once again reading the adventures of the Jayce and Ellie crew and dynamic is fun. You get to know their mom’s and Thomas more in this series. They interact with the each realm in the hopes of assisting both to see the truth. It’s a HEA and something fun to read.
