Honey Love

Rate this book
“Mmmm Honey,” Bolo moaned as he tossed in turned in his sleep.
For the past few weeks he hadn’t been able to keep Denise off of his mind. At first it was just a daydream here and there and it wasn’t much of a big deal. But, now he had fucked around and let her into his night slumber and he had no control whatsoever.
Bolo didn’t mind at all, hell, he was enjoying himself. But the scorned woman that was standing over him with a bat wasn’t so happy.
“Say that shit one more time,” Amanda mumbled as she tilted back the cold piece of aluminum.
“Mmmmm Honey,” Bolo moaned once again.
“Whack”
Amanda connected the bat to his thigh which woke Bolo up immediately.
“Say that shit again!”
Bolo had no idea what she was talking about until after he snatched the bat and threw it to the floor. Then it clicked. He connected his dream with Amanda’s actions. He wasn’t ready to admit his feelings so he played dumb.
“What the fuck is wrong with you Amanda?” he yelled loudly. “Have you lost ya fuckin’ mind?”
“No, evidently you don’ lost yours!” she screamed as she grabbed her handbag. “I’m going to my mothers and when I get back I want that bitch gone!”
Bolo stood there in his boxers speechless. He knew what he had done probably hurt Amanda, but there was nothing he could do. The damage was done. He didn’t even try to run after her.

Wow

This was a good book. I loved Honey's innocence. Her and Bolo were so cute together. They definitely had drama surrounding them. I would recommend this book.

This book was good but more for a younger crowd not sure why there's a part 2 because it ended like the story was completed

**** My Review Contains Spoilers****

I can't lie, the beginning of this story had me hooked. Bolo and Denise were okay characters but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Ava's character. However, as I continue to read it I found myself wanting to throat punch every character besides Ava for their actions. In my opinion, this story went from being good to being ridiculous. Amanda is Bolo's girlfriend and he wakes up with a gun pointed in his face and on another occasion he wakes up with her hitting him with a bat and he goes about his day as if its okay. HELL NO!!! Amanda also hits Denise in the head with the gun and while Bolo tackles her to the floor Denise decides to go upstairs to her room and not come down and if that's normal. She should have gotten her sh*t and got the hell up out of there. Then there's Keever, who kills Amanda because is stalking him and threatening to tell his wife about them, yet he starts stalking Denise. I finished the book but I just couldn't deal with these characters any more. As much as I thought that I would enjoy this story I have to be honest and say this one just wasn't for me.

Beautiful story

What I like was the loyalty that Bolo and Honey had for one another and also Ava was a very loyal friend. Keepher was another story. I'm guessing part 2 is a different story but I hope it isn't. I need to know what happened to them. And did he die he needs to be punished for what his crazy ass did . But I would definitely recommend this book to other's as well. Excellent author 5 star for me

Really Good!

It was predictable but also enjoyable. Two troubled people who found love in each other. It would have been nice to see a little more development of Honey/Denise but still good.

felt rushed

The story had a good plot , the build up was really good , then it felt like the story fell off, this was a good read but I didn’t enjoy the big gap to get to the ending 🥴

This was a good read that I really enjoyed. Denise found herself dealing with issues since she was younger. Bolo was always the protective type and did whatever he could to ensure Denise didn't have to suffer too much. Once being separated, Denise found herself still not being treated as she should, but with the help of Ava she got through a lot. Her foster mom was so sickening! The return of Bolo turned out to be one of the best moments of Denise's life. With his help she was finally able to realized wanted he felt like to be loved. Bolo provided for her and even though his girlfriend felt threatened, he never pushed Denise away. As for Amanda, I didn't like her at all. She did everything in her power to cause problems with Honey because she knew she didn't deserve someone like Bolo. She was insecure and had her own secrets but stayed up to no good. At first I was all for Honey and Keever getting to know each other but that quickly changed. He had his own situation but the way he acted about Honey would've had anyone fool. He was just too crazy to say he didn't get far with their so called relationship. Finally Bolo and Honey were able to get right and it sure took long enough. Just when things seemed to be going good crazy had to reenter the picture. Dude definitely had some screws loose for the way he acted with Amanda. I was so ready for Bolo and Honey to have their happily ever after. Things seemed to be on the right track until Keever's crazy ass showed up yet again. I just wanted him out of the picture because his jealous ass was doing the most. I felt so bad for Bolo and thought he would never get his happy ending. Once the ending came I was so glad things worked out and they were able to experience that honey love and be a family. Great job ladies.

WOW....AWESOME READ. Shelli Marie and Teruka B Carey has done it again. These two Authors write so well together you don't know where one starts and the other ends. The book held my attention right from the first page and it was a total page-tuner I definitely couldn't put it down.I LOVED HONEY. the love between Honey and Bolo who grew up together as friends with Bolo being older and acting as her protector at and early age. I love the way the Authors let the storyline, characters and the relationship between Honey & Bolo develop over time once reunited after 9 years.Throw Amanda and Keevar into the mix and we have MAJOR CRAZY DRAMA. Also, we meet the one person who entered in Honey life during those 9 years her friend Ava who definitely had her back through it all.Even though, there were a few grammar issues it didn't take away from the storyline and drawing me further into the story. Great job Shelli Marie and Teruka B. Carey...I highly recommend this book as well as any others by these 2 very talented and gifted authors and you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to see what they have next in store for us.

I love reading a complete novel! Bolo was
everything! The way he protected and loved Honey was stuff dreams are made of. I enjoyed the characters in the book. Ava was a ride or die friend. It would be nice to do a book on Ava and Aaron's story. Great job the book was a true love story just when you think love will prevail Shelli and Teruka give you a twist great ending ladies I didn't see it coming!

I loved it! A good omen fashion Love Story that was a pleasure to read. These two came full circle after losing one another as children and as adults find a dingbat realize how their love has grown into much more and could have been taken away for lack of communication and a looney tune! I tell you, when these two authors get together they really give you a great story, one worthy of your full attention and leave you wanting more

Honey Love

This was easy reading. There was love between Honey and Bolo who grew up together as friends. Both came from difficult childhoods that tore them apart. Years later they were reunited and cautiously fell in love. I also liked that the book had an element of mystery which was Amanda and Keever. Both were cray-cray, but kept the story moving along.

Honey Love

I really enjoyed this book. Denise was dealt a bad hand as a child. Bolo took care of her as much as he could, but the foster care system still took her. I'm happy he found her years later even though he had a girlfriend. Ava was also an important part of her life. I thought Keever was going to take care of her, but he was a liar and a stalker.

This was a very good read. It held my attention from beginning to end. It did however have lots of words running together throughout the entire book.

Relationships and emotions become blurred lines from childhood to adulthood. There were no 'wow' ;or addictive moments. Some editing issues. Just a basic read.
