All these years have passed and now we meet once again face-to-face...
Book 1: Stepbrother Dearest: Forbidden Secret Book 2: Stepbrother Dearest: Unraveled Secret Book 3: Stepbrother Dearest: Departing Secret Book 4: Stepbrother Dearest: Enduring Secret - The final book in the series.
Erik and Cassandra’s lives have completely changed and they have drifted apart over the years. Cassandra has been keeping a secret from Erik.
Until Silvia's wedding brings them back together. The deadly secret that Cassandra has kept from Erik over the years is unraveled.
Will he forgive his stepsister from keeping the truth away from him for so long?
Not bad for a start but it's a serial so this is in no way a complete story. Cassandra and Erick parents got married and they had one night together, now years later Cassandra has been asked to attend Erik's sisters wedding. Not wanting to but attending anyway Cassandra knows she will see Erick and sparks will fly but she also knows questions will be asked. This has the potential to be a really good story when complete. I will check it out when it is finished but not before just because of my presences with serials.
I did enjoy this story but 15 pages is hardly considered a chapter let alone a book. If they put the series out together I know I would enjoy it immensely as it had great characters, kept me intrigued and reading. I wanted more.. But it was over before it began. Just basically a teaser.. If I'd have know that I probably wouldn't have read it until it was complete.
Iv followed this read on from book one thinking that the story would grow stronger but I'm slightly disappointed to be honest there are parts in the book that have left me feeling like really she would let him do that.
Cassie has been written to be a weak women who doesn't stay around when things get tough.
The editing was poorly done. The reason it got 2 stars was because it was filled with drama and it took more guts than I have to put yourself out there and write. At least it was free so I didn't waste any money.
