Bellamy Martin is Charlotte’s go-to high-end event planner—polished, powerful, and used to calling the shots. She built her thriving luxury brand while married to her college sweetheart, only for her marriage to unravel in a very public divorce. Now, Bellamy keeps her heart locked and her life tightly guarded. Love isn’t on her itinerary.
That is…until a surprise 30th birthday getaway drops her into a private Miami villa with Zaire Bishop—the man who shattered her heart years ago.
Once a hood legend turned music executive, Zaire is still dangerous, still magnetic, and still carrying unfinished business where Bellamy is concerned. When a booking mix-up forces them to share the villa, old wounds reopen, buried desire resurfaces, and resisting each other becomes damn near impossible.
But when Zaire makes her an offer, Bellamy has a choice to make…
Will she keep her heart guarded or risk it all and become His for the Weekend…or a lifetime?
I didn’t like that ending. Bell can’t let the past go. She stressing about Shad when she has Zaire right there. He’s showing her how much he loves her and how she should be treated. Now, he’s leaving and she isn’t stopping him. Shad did her wrong all this time. She gotta let that go. They’ve been separated for a year, he has an outside kid and the divorce is finalized. Come on Bellamy!!!
Literally read this book in one sitting. No stops. No pauses!!! This had me hooked from beginning to end!!!!! I’m so ready for part two!!!!!! Zaire has me wanting him to find another bad b who loves him and move on. Bell is doing too much. Rashad don’t give two heck’s about you and you worried about him. You got a good man right infront of you and you worried about that cheating man!
B., bring your butt to the front right now! How you just drop the mic like this. My first frustration for 2026. Zaire done shown this woman the world in a weekend, something I’ve been waiting a lifetime for and she acting like a donkey. For seven or more years you put up with Rashad’s paparazzi and scandals but you can’t stand for one weekend of positive, for you, publicity. Zaire I’d blow up too. I’m almost as mad at her as I am with B., cause I thought they were about to run off into the sunset and get it right with this second chance and have Rashad whimper as he watches how he fumbled a good one. But no, you just say to be continued. I’m hurt. Good darn book. But I’m waiting….
I liked it very much. Zaire wasn’t playing with Bellamy, but he lacked an understanding of how her divorce affected her emotionally. Her divorce was just finalized before her trip, and she hadn’t had the chance to really let that sink in. Bellamy also lacked an understanding of her own feelings towards him. She agreed to spend the weekend with him, so you (Bellamy) opened the door to everything he would be doing to court you. The ending left me wanting more—I hope there’s a book two.
B Knox, you did that. Bellamy 30th birthday was one for the books. Zaire showed up and out. Leave Rashad right where he's at. He's begging for another chance but still doing the same thing. Bellamy, don't miss out on the man that's had your heart and didn't give it back for a man that constantly keeps doing him. Can't wait until part 2 drops. Whew, this was 🔥
I love the book. It was crazy how Bell let her ex-husband do her. She knew it was wrong to stay with him. Bell never got over Zaire. He was her true love. I love how they flow today. I can't wait until the next book.
Zaire is right! But I also want her to make the call to help her ex-husband and walk away completely. Idkkkk, cause he hurt her so bad…part 2 me please
