“So, what do you say, will you be my fake girlfriend?”
I think about it before asking the one question that’s been on my mind.
“What’s in it for you?”
His gaze intensifies as he leans closer to me. His dazzling eyes are
captivated. He puts his mouth right next to my ear, I can feel his hot breath
and it’s making parts of my body tingle.
“You will be mine” his voice is so soft yet holds a command in it and I gasp
at his words. “No one says no to me, princess. And you are no exception.”

Not a Fan
Um--no. Wierd plot twist. May have been able to be open and have a suspension of disbelief at the beginning. But as the diegesis progresses, it becomes more and more unrealistic, and goes from odd to bizarre. I was left with mental whiplash as the author tried to create an emotional, suspenseful end. The speed of the quick, senseless, jumps in the narrative alienated me and impeded my ability to become engaged in the story. Not a fan.
