One day, Fate would bring him his mate. Sylvan Quicksilver had dreams and wishes, and an innate pull toward the Diamond City of Obrusa. What he hadn't expected was the circumstances that went along with that. When the opportunity arose to join Darvon on his travels to Onamond, Sylvan packed his bags. The compulsion he’d felt at home grew as they traveled, then doubled the moment they passed through the capital gates. Though conscripted to join Jarrah’s quest, he was disappointed to be sent north with a human instead of east with his cousins.

Nothing could have prepared him for the adventure of meeting those he’d thought long gone, and those Fate had deemed him worthy of Connor, Cormac, and Camron, the vampiric sons of Master Vampire Baron Cendres. Three brothers to sate every one of his desires. Three Blood Knights to lend strength to his magick. As they marched across the Sprawlingforth Plains to face the evil invading Obrusa head-on, Sylvan had never felt more powerful.

Five sets of mates joined on a quest to break a curse holding Fate’s sister hostage—Fae, shifters, vampires, dragons, princes, and the tenth step free Her.

Sylvan is the fifth and final book in The Tenth Step series. Each book contains a new romantic entanglement, builds on the previous installments, and should be read in order

Always an avid reader and colorful dreamer, it was only a matter of time before taking pen to paper, oftentimes literally. A firm believer in every song tells a story and every story has a song, I sing under my breath, tap my toes and swing my hips, much to the delight of my co-workers and friends. I freely admit that becoming a romance author is the best mid-life crisis a girl could ever have.

Umm... add trigger warnings please

I wanted to like it more than I did, I really enjoyed the very first book in the series. There's a lot of repetition in the books where they go over past events but now from a different perspective which I find a bit jarring. But for the trigger warning that I think needs to be added, it's a bit of a spoiler.

Although I knew the three brothers were going to share one mate, I thought it would be like other books I've read where Brothers share a mate where they do not physically touch each other, rather they only touch their fated meat and are in the same room or watching. I do not enjoy reading books with 'cest and I had to barely skim over most of the spicy times.

I'm glad I read the book just so I could get the conclusion of the story, but it won't be a reread for me.
