Wild #1-3

The Wild Series

Rate this book
All three books of the USA Today Bestselling Wild Series are included in this collection.

WILD (Book One)
One independent woman. One controlling man. One wild one-night stand.

Kat Kennedy moved to the rugged coast of Maine to start a new life, but encountered much more than she bargained for in dark, dangerous, and seductive Lane Wild.

Desire and temptation smolder before she succumbs to her darkest fantasies with the captivating stranger. She doesn't expect to see him again after an explosive one-night stand leaves her breathless and craving more, but just like lightning in the darkness, he shows up in her life at the most unpredictable moments.

A sensual game of cat and mouse ensues before the attraction between them reaches a fever pitch—the magnetism combustible, the sexual tension nearly unbearable—and Kat finally abandons inhibition and explores the cunning, selfish, and sexual side of a world she's never known.

They have the perfect non-relationship—passion-fueled nights with no strings attached—until life gets real and the past and present collide in a dangerous storm of lust and obsession.

RIDGE (Book Two)
Sometimes doing the wrong thing feels so right...

I'm a player. I'm an asshole. I'm someone you should stay away from.

I have demons.
I've made mistakes.
And the biggest can't be taken back.

I've gone to hell and back in twenty-nine years and I'm only now coming to terms with moving forward, righting my wrongs, and making amends. Except not everyone deserves forgiveness. Sometimes the damage done is beyond repair.
Everyday is exactly the same. I focus on the pain, in the quest to feel and forget, but I remember everything. When I close my eyes the darkness encroaches and some days it feels like the things that kill me are the things that make me feel alive.

SLADE (Book Three)
Behind every beautiful thing, there is some kind of pain...

Always overlooked. Always just there. That's what Dillon was to me.

Until one night.

In one night she flipped my world on its axis and there's no going back. But she has secrets, and secrets fester like an open wound. They color the past and forecast the future, but I'm determined to open her up; free her from her memories so she can live in the light and have the life she deserves.

It's just too bad that she wants nothing to do with me. But I'm nothing if not persistent and I'm not a man that gives up without a fight. I've had a taste and there's no walking away.
I just have to convince her that I'm not what she fears, I'm what she wants.

I wish I could say I enjoyed this one but I'd be lying if I say I did. I didn't the story engaging or the characters interesting. The romance lacked depth and chemistry despite the copious amount of sex scenes in the first two books in the series.

The first book, Wild, I was able to finish but again, I didn't enjoy it. I just didn't feel the depth of their emotion or love for each other. And I really had a problem with Wild because he's downright pushy. There were instances where Kat was saying no or stop but he doesn't listen to her. His reason is she doesn't really mean it because look how aroused she is. Hell, no. He's very rapey and just made me uncomfortable.

The second book, Ridge is even worse than the first. Ridge and Mia doesn't even spend that much time together because for most of the book, Ridge was with another woman. I personally don't mind if my characters were with other people before meeting or having a relationship with the heroine or hero. But Ridge was just over the top. I couldn't bring myself to continue reading it anymore.

Definitely not for me.

Hot hot hot

I loved that each of these stories were told by a mans point of view. Men, you never know if they truly care. If you like strong women, they are in these stories. Really are very good reads this summer

Wild -
In Wild we meet Lane and Kat. From the moment Lane meets Kat he feels something different with her. Kat fights the connection. The story was ok. It picked up towards the end when we find out more about Kat and her past, the reasons behind her pushing Lane away.

Ridge -
This story we learn about Ridge and Mia. I really enjoyed this one the most out of all three. Although I still can't decide if I like either characters! There was a lot to their story. We learned about their betrayal to Lane and the struggle Ridge had through out his life. We also learn about Mia, however I would have like to see some of the story in her POV. I had a hard time connecting to her.

Slade -
Finally we get Slade and Dillon's story. We have had glances at them from the first two books. I liked both character but I honestly didn't feel a connection between them. I felt Slade just pushed to much. Even when Dillon finally told him her story I felt that there was a part of her she still didn't give to him. I just felt something was off with their connection.

--I give the bundle 3.5 stars. Ridge's story brought the bundle rating up for me.

I was given this book for my honest review

This book has 3 separate stories in it each one with hotness in itself. A normal review cannot be done for this book so I am just gonna wing it. I hope you enjoy it.

This author brings so much to each one of these reads that with each one you will be panting, screaming, saying “Oh No”, some major tears will flow and you won’t know what is actually happening in the book till the next page is turned. This author throws many twists in each read that will have you not only amazed but in awe. The creative way this author writes will have you closing your eyes at times and seeing each book in your mind and when opening them again will have you motionless.

To the author: I can’t stress enough how these books moved me not only with the surprises that you through in each read but with the wow/awe factor fully enveloped in each. Each read stands alone in my mind as it will with your readers but at the end of this read you left me speechless.

Happy Reading

These books were a refreshing change of pace for me, and also a introduction to a new author, and I have to say they left a really good first impression. Each book introduces readers to a tortured alpha male character and each one was told from the mans perspective, which made the stories very intriguing. It gave readers glimpses into the minds of men and the opportunity to see things from a different point of view, and I think Ms.Leigh did a excellent job at telling their side of the story.

Each story is packed with passion, drama, chemistry, intensity, and some mind blowing, toe curling sex scenes! If you like steamy stories with strong alpha male characters, then these are DEFINITELY right up your alley!!! The men of the Wild series are sure to leave you with a smile on your face, and satisfy every one of your reading needs...and then some!!

Three very unique stories. I loved that they are all mostly told form the male perspective, which is very rare thus refreshing.
First we have Lane Wild, a sweetheart that was wronged by his fiancée and his brother (shame on them). So that's why now he is closed off and until does one-night stands. Enter a redheaded temptation and all bets are off. Even though she is being hunted by her past, she can't help but fall in love with Lane.
Ridge's story: that was sooooooo painful. He has a very sad story, really messed up too. I felt for him. Though I also cursed at him and damned him to hell for many of his attitudes.
Slade...well I'd be your sub any day of the week, you know have to ask ;) The name calling is not my thing but it kind of worked for him. I liked how she stood up for herself and didn't roll over for him

I couldn't finish this series.

I enjoyed the first book, "Wild," enough to forgive the sudden point-of-view shifts. These normally bother me but I found the characters compelling enough to keep reading. The erotica was well written and engaging.

And then I got to "Ridge." I hated Ridge. I hated him as a person and everything he did. I kept waiting to see if he would get better or show some redeeming qualities...and then he got worse. That's where I stopped reading; midway through "Ridge."

So I don't know if "Slade" is any good or if he ever finds love because I couldn't read any more about the jerk that is Ridge to get that far.

Well Lane, Ridge and Slade are a handful, wow their tastes are very hot and steamy indeed.
Lane knew what he wanted and stopped at nothing to get it.
Ridge was a tortured soul, his previous bad decisions affected his future, he wanted to make things right but struggled to leave behind his past life, thought he had to, but fate intervened.
Slade well they say the quiet ones are the worse, he hid his other life well but when trying to win the girl, opening up to her meant she couldn't trust him, who was he really?
Great box set highly recommended

I'm not into extreme kink/BDSM at all, but I have to admit: this series was well-written. I was in a state of "have-to-know-what's-happening-next" with these books. I don't regret choosing it.

It's always refreshing to read from a man's POV, and each story was so different - I can't say any was similar or too alike, and I enjoyed that. A very good read, I must say. A definite "I recommend!"

P.S. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my review.

Loved the series

I loved all three books. I hope we see more of these characters in the future.

Wild was wild for Kat. They were a. At home from the start.

Ridge was dark and brooding. Him and Mia hurt too many people until they gave into their love.

Slide reminds me of a big teddy bear with a big heart for Dillion.

Loved all the stories,

This book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

It was difficult to stay interested in these stories. The characters were very one dimensional and the storylines were kind of boring. They were flat and predictable, typical romance I suppose, although they lean more towards erotica.

I was sent a copy of the book for review through NetGalley, as always, all opinions are my own.

I gave up on this before finishing the third story. The first one, Lane’s story, was the best of the bunch, it actually had somewhat of a plot. The other two, well, they were rather difficult to read. There was a lot of sex, but it was a little too wash, rinse, repeat for me.

Not as good as i had been expecting, but not exactly bad either. I can only conclude that it's not my preference in stories despite usually liking erotica and definitely a good story line which this lacked for me.

These books surprised me, started off dramatic and sweet and gets dirty each book. Loved the sweetest, connection and build up in Wild. The conflict and drama of Ridge and naughtiness, surprising aspects of Slade.

Loved this series!!!
Started off reading book one (Wild) yesterday and went straight on to buy the boxset so I could continue on with the rest!
This series is about 2 brothers and a best friend and is mostly told in the male POV which I think was great for these stories!
There's lots to these stories and a hell of a lot of sexy steamy times involved!
Wild from book 1 was my absolute favourite but I enjoyed reading about Ridge and Slade too!
Thank you to Adriane for writing these fab characters!

This set consisted of 3 books. The first is Lane, it was EXTREMELY EROTIC. Lane is a very hurt young man. Until he meets Kat and things start to change. Kat is running from a past that she plans on keeps running from...until Lane that is. Can Lane get past his demons and Kat get over her past so they can find happiness together?
Next is Ridge, he has a damaged family history. Not to mention his own damaged past with drugs and alcoholism. He's done bad things to both family and friends. Now he's looking forward to making amenze for all his wrongs. He meets Amy and then begins to believe that maybe he can have a better life since he's decided to change his lifestyle. But can he get over his ex Mia to find the happiness he's dreamed of for years.
The third and final installment revolves around Slade. Slade is Lane's best friend. He's been chasing Dillon another childhood friend of theirs. Dillon has major issues and major secrets. This book like the first two was extremely erotic. Panty Dropping off the hook sexiness. The storyline in all three books are intense and well developed. I was on the edge of my seat throughout all these books. I highly recommend this series to EVERYONE who loves a good read but this is a great set of 3 GREAT reads.

MY REVIEW
The Wild series is a collection of three novels featuring two brothers and a best friend. One of the best things about these three books is that they are all told from the man's point of view which i find makes things very intriguing, i absolutely love to get inside the guys head in a book so were onto a winner right from the start.
If you like strong take no crap confident women and seriously sexy guys this trio of books is for you.
The sex is ridiculously hot and plentiful, the characters are likeable and well developed, the plots are uncomplicated and easy to follow. I liked the cross over of characters throughout the three books.
Adriane Leigh writes in a very creative way that has the books playing out like a movie in your mind, three great reads.

I tried, but I couldn't finish even the first book in this bundle. For me, it was too much of everything I don't like: excessive crudeness, obscene chauvinism masquerading as alpha-maleness, a general rudeness and disregard for a woman's feelings. Suffice it to say, at least the first book in the Wild Series isn't my cup of tea. I stopped there, and threw up a white flag, so can't say if the other books are an improvement. My advice is to get a sample first and proceed with caution.

I received an ARC of this book, via Net Galley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Okay some of the language was rough...lots of treating women like objects...and most of these men were childish. I had a hard time connecting with them, but overall, I enjoyed the stories and the love scenes were steamy. I wish we had gotten Mia's point of view in Ridge and I wish there had been more explanation about pasts in both Wild and Slade. Enjoyable and definitely one's to read if you enjoy love scenes with a little bite to them.
