I was sad for this series to end. I am 100% invested in the characters, good and evil, the adventures, Annie and Lucas and their love story. These books will live in my soul for along time…
This chapter in their story they must make tough and dangerous choices when Annie is kidnapped because another witch has a score to settle with Aunt Lucinda. There is also an ancient wizard holding a grudge for centuries that requires revenge.
The battles they must fight in order to keep Annie and Lucas safe are some of my favorite parts of this book. Adding some new characters good and evil.
After all is said and done they have to choose how they will live their life going forward. Where will they live? Do they return to Charleston or start somewhere new.
Cassin makes them an offer so that Lucas can continue working on blood anomalies for Biotech and a little something special they always dreamed of.
They still have a life in South Carolina to wrap up. Also, some explaining to do about the situations they have faced along with a few minor twists their life has taken to the friends they call family.
Annie still has a very tough decision to make and is battling with it knowing what choice Lucas would like her to make, but for now they decide she doesn’t have to choose now. What will she choose and will she regret that choice?.

Starting where book 3 ended. We have Annie kidnapped by Lucas's doppelganger Elias. He wants Annie and her magic,and Lucas's life.
Meanwhile Lucas and the gang add a wizard with powerful magic and a huge grudge against the Black Witch. Together they come up with a plan to get Annie back.
This story is very suspenseful, with a dangerous doppelganger and a black witch with a grudge, a love so strong that nothing can defeat them, Witches, Vampires and found family with Shifters, ghosts, a wizard, a guardian, and their old friends from South Carolina. All together in a very happy ending.
I highly recommend this book and this series.
This series is a must read for all you lovers of the paranormal world.

Explosive Conclusion
Now in the hands of Elias, Annie finds herself with her hands bound and sense of dark magic around her. A choice made can change the course of the world’s fate. What a heavy burden to carry but it did make for an incredible plot in this final installment. Despite his turmoil I loved how Lucas was surrounded by people who could tame his impulses in order to strategize a plan. These side characters were a fantastic edition to this series and I would enjoy a story of their own. Although, the end was satisfying I would have liked another epilogue into their new life she promised.

I love the way this book ties everything together. Good vs evil. Love overcoming evil. Lucus and Annie still have a brilliant future together. He gives her choices and she pulls everyone together. Human and nonhuman. Jade Christy does an amazing job making the abnormal feel realistic. All the characters are amazing. Action scenes are palpable and feel realistic. This is a series that I can revisit in the future and still enjoy.

Now that was a great ending. They definitely got Elias and Nafaria got what they deserved. Everyone came together to make sure that Lucas and Annie got the life they wanted. This is a great series to read, and I really loved reading it. The only wish I have would have been for Annie to have Lucas turn her so they could be together forever.

The sweetest of vampire romances!
I liked this series, all the characters normal human, shifters, witches and vampires. At its core is the love between Annie and Lucas, which is greater even then the magic. A great theme I believe in! A great story. I gave it five stars ⭐️
