The H doesn’t find out it’s his kid until
93%. He’s not mad or anything…. It’s like 🤷♀️ well, I love you!
h has literally been sleeping with him for months without telling him about the kid. 😡
So….the plot is simple. H is BFF with h’s brother. H and h hook up one valentines night. It’s amazing. He leaves and she goes on to have a kid.
Now, 5 years laters, she’s a chef in a resort he’s buying.
H has a nasty assistant that wants him. She does everything shady. It’s comical.
h’s brother is a POS and deserves a fist to the face. He’s a loser who sucks his sister dry, and she continues to put up with it. I did love this quote h said about her brother. Exactly
“Jack had never liked the idea of any of his friends being interested in me, but sometimes it hadn’t seemed like a big-brother-protectiveness and more like a jealousy that someone would rather spend time with someone other than him.”
So anyway, this book is mostly boring.

The characters drove the storyline and they were very compelling and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

This book is a good story that will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end. Emmaline and her brothers best friend Liam shared one valentines night together and she ends up being a mom. Now years later she has a chance to work for hi. But when sparks fly between them will someone try to destroy her and will Liam learn he has a child? Great story that sucks you.

Well written steamy desires second chances, one night stand, secret pregnancy and more.

I think was a great second chance romance. That’s how it felt. She still loved him. Even if he didn’t remember that night. And when they come together again after five years, those sparks were definitely still there. I thought this was a great story. It was awesome to see them come together again and move forward together.

His Secret Valentine Baby, by Scarlett Shelton is listed as a brother's best friend romance, but to me, it was a beautiful second chance romance. One past valentine's day, Liam and Emmaline helped each other forget the disappointments in their lives by indulging in a one night stand. Their one night resulted in a baby, that Liam knew nothing about. In fact, aside from two people, no one new who fathered Emmaline's son. Fast forward five years and fate brought Liam and Emmaline back together. Both are keeping huge secrets and battling issues from their past that have the potential to blow their world apart, but their attraction can not be denied.
