Hollywood Dreams, Deadly Schemes, and Rewriting Murder!
Janet Wild returns to Moreno Lake, CA, determined to spin her real-life adventures into a blockbuster film.
Her comeback takes a dangerous turn when Robin Crowe, a rival writer, is murdered and Janet is implicated.
With BFF Jennifer Wooley, their quirky tenants, Tarot-reading moms, and a quick-talking agent with secrets, Janet navigates a landscape brimming with Hollywood egos and hidden motives with her loyal Scottie, McTavish.
Suspicions Could Sandy, the agent’s assistant, have murdered her best friend? Was Janet's old friend Sam driving the car following them? Did the threatening email originate from within their own house?
As old grudges and ambition threaten Janet's chances, she must piece together the clues before her Hollywood ending slips away.
With each tick of the clock, the lines between Hollywood fantasy and deadly reality blur, forcing Janet and her makeshift team to confront the possibility that the answers are hidden among them.
Every move could be their last chance to rewrite the ending.
A Plot to Murder is an Excellent story about Janet and her clever rescue dog McTavish and Jennifer who she used to write with. Janet wrote a story about McTavish and how they met. But the production of story was taken away from her. Unfortunately the person doing the rewrite dies. Janet and Jennifer and their friends begin to look into the mystery. But can they discover all the pieces of this puzzle. Will they find the truth? Superb story and series that I enjoyed reading and I highly recommend that you read.
