Aurora has had her share of curveballs thrown by life. The one she didn't expect - ending up at wedding for a famed baller she was hired to dance for. As fate would see it, she finds herself in something she never saw coming. However, wrapped in all the comfort she'd been petitioning for. Khalif is hours away from marrying "the love of his life" but something is unsettling about the entire ordeal. It could be the seductive lights of the night club or Aura entrancing him in her dance. But whatever it is, he knows that walking down the aisle to appease his family won't happen. Take the journey into the end zone with Aurora and Khalif.
The fiancé’….… trash! The twin brother…… trash! The parents (especially his mama)…… trash! Everybody in Khalif’s immediate family was trash and didn’t deserve his loyalty. But, an unexpected run in with an exotic dancer is just what he needed. In a short period of time, Aurora became his peace and showed Khalif it’s okay to put himself first. I really enjoyed this lil teaser AP gave us. I’m keeping my fingers crossed because, I want to see more of Aurora and Khalif in 2026. 🤞🏾🤞🏾
This was good, but that ending was lackluster. The Okay just sent me 😒😩🫠 Otherwise I enjoyed the quick story.
Aurora is in school preparing to fight for the legacy her father left her. In the meantime she is doing what she needs to to pay for school. She leaves a lasting impression on Khalif, an NFL player. When his life starts to crumble she is at the top of his mind. I enjoyed their easy connection, and look forward to reading how their plays together impact their game.
I hope to see a little more of this story in the future. I wasn't ready for this one to end. Kahlif's convo with his brother, Khalil (his twin) needed some on page spice. And then his family's disrespect, nah! Kahlif did what he needed to do. Aurora was his peace... I cannot stand a nasty garden tool fiancée like Shenae. And Aurora was everything Kahlif needed. See what you think...
this was cute i wish it was longer. khalif family ain’t shit all they cared about was their image and the money he was making to take care of them but none of them cared about him. was happy to see him put his family in their place over not caring about him, trying to get him to make up with his twin when his twin betrayed him in the worst way, disrespecting aurora. i hope aurora passes the bar, becomes a great sports lawyer, gets be an everything that was stolen from her by her dads agent when he passed. aurora and khalif had an instant connection, they both immediately knew they had met the one. i need more of them
Slowly getting through Aubree Pynn catalogue and I’m addicted to her short stories. Khalif is set to get married to someone he doesn’t love. After hearing his soon to be bride in bed with his twin brother he decides to show up to the church and expose everything. He leaves the church with Aurora the dancer he meet at his bachelor party the night before. The connection between the two is undeniable. I’m glad Khalif finally put the boundaries up between him and his family because them wanting him to still be with that woman after sleeping with his brother is crazy. Khalif tore Aurora walls down literally and figuratively. This was another good read.
Babyyyyy sometimes all you want and need is to be seen! Khalif said, "Come Apart" whewwwwww I forgot it was a book for a second and was coming apart okay okay lol. I loved this novella so much. So many gems were dropped throughout the novella. Khalif had the weight of the world on his shoulders and honeyyyyy Aurora with that good aura came through. It's crazy the sacrifices that are made to make everyone around you proud and happy. I loved seeing him choose his self. I love happy endings, soulmates and good love. This novella was perfect, but AP is this a too be continued? lol Two questions that made me come undone: Do you need to be affirmed? Do you need someone to see you?
I am not opposed to novellas but I am opposed to unfinished work. This book had all of my attention and then literally mid-conversation it just ended. I knew what the page count was before I started it, so I wasn't expecting some long drawn-out love affair. But, I was definitely expecting a completed story. This abrupt ending broke the continuity and lessened the appeal of the storyline for me.
When you finally start living for yourself, things can drastically improve. I'm sure Aurora and Khalif never thought their lives would change in an instant. Family drama, unrealistic expectations, betrayal and more. We could all tell that marriage was doomed from the start. All it took was for her to "see" him and the rest was history. Touchdown!!!!
I haven’t read Aubree Pynn books in a while && I can mostly definitely say that I’ve been missing out. I like how Khalif was mesmerized by Aura asking him what made him feel like more of a man and it stuck with him. Aurora was what Khalif needed just like Khalif was what she needed…..each other hope, dreams, ideas, and love!
Phew, another AP hit. Honestly, she doesn’t miss and that’s my opinion. Aurora is out here trying to pay her way through college to be a lawyer due to what she has witnessed. On the other side is Khalif who is just going through the motions. Honestly, these two were really going through the motions and doing what needed to be done. Love, the Endzone will have you at the edge of your seat as truths are revealed and connections are built.
This PYNN is undisputed!!! I love sports romances. Aubree added her usual razzle dazzle and its short but felt like a 300 page novel. Y’all better read this catalog. I love it in Los Oceania. Aurora and Khalif for sports couple of the year.
I wanted more to the story, like him reading his mother and sister for filth about Aurora. The marriage, her becoming a lawyer and getting her legacy back
