Galactic Green Thumbs: A Cozy, Low-Stakes, Slice-of-Life Sci-fi Adventure
Book learnin' meets wrench turnin'...
Hey there, friend. Rusty here. After that big ice-moon job, my crew is ready to spend some time on the Romari Mothership, takin' care of business. We've got an ornery junkyard loader suit to patch up and some new furniture to wrangle into place, but our biggest project ain't got nothing to do with hydraulics or hand trucks.
We got roped into helping Dahlia the plant-girl and Noki the pixie with a school assignment about the most exotic planets they could think Earth and Mars. Never thought I'd spend an afternoon explaining to a couple teenage aliens how "bless your heart" can be sincere or insulting, depending on how ya say it.
But we ain't the types to sit still for too long, so while we're dishing dirt, we'll also be sowing seeds. We got a whole mess of 'em from the Sol System that still need to get in the ground. Good thing Dahlia's dad is a gardening guru. Guess you learn a few things when your family tree is an actual tree.
We're gonna have a grand ol' time digging up memories and harvesting friendships. 'Cause it turns out a great garden ain't about what you plant, it's about who you plant it with.

These are just to much Fun
I love how all the different kinds of characters get along so well no matter what their species. Wish the author wasn't so good describing the various foods, makes me want to eat. The various misunderstandings of Earth words and descriptions is quite hilarious too.

Book 9 in the series
Rusty, Mike, and the rest of the crew are back on the mothership after driving the ice road and bringing back the lens. They have a few adventures aboard the mothership, talk about the Waffle House index used on Earth, and later pick up another hauling job. A great story.

Great storyline
Another fun addition to this series. The reports the girls did on Mars,and earth were a real hoot. I did quite the LOL and scared my lap cat when they described Thanksgiving, football and the Iron Bowl. Great interpretation.

Funny
Really enjoyed how much fun they had with the vegetables and fruits and planting it in the excitement of the plant aliens. Thought that the school children's book reports were particularly inventive way to go author!

fun characters
I really enjoyed this series. There is something fun going on all the time and plenty of silliness to go around. The only problem is the books end too soon.

Ordinary life on a spaceship continues. This book has a good story about living each day when you do not have to rush off and do something on another planet. No drama, and NOT boring! Fun series.
